So easy to replace existing key
Easy peasy replacement of the factory original.. check out you tube for directions on how to replace and remember that you need to turn your car on with the old key and have the replacement key in the car while the car is running And it will auto-program the new key.. then just switch out the blank

Read all the reviews from here. Bad experience
Bought 2 of these keys. Took them to my local locksmith and had them cut to fit my car. After numerous attempts neither key would work. 1 key did nothing at all. 1 key worked but left my security light on. Ended up after having to buy a local key fob from them that worked and paired. Worst replacement key and key fob I've bought.I don't recommend getting them.

Make sure you carry the spare key in your car! They break when dropped.
Went through both keys in a year because as soon as you drop them they shatter. I’m lucky both of mine happened to break at home.

Half awesome, half hassle
UPDATING MY REVIEW:Original was 3 stars, not because of the product itself, but because of the lack of instructions and what I felt was an undisclosed piece of information about how hard it is to get these keys made.IF YOU UNDERSTAND these two issues going in, then the product itself is actually very good. I managed to find a locksmith in the next town that could cut these keys. For a key, it was kind of expensive ($30) but that's FAR less than it would have cost to have the car manufacturer do it. Also. the instructions were not hard to find online... in fact, for this particular car, the locksmith said that there are two ways to program the fob - (1) *some* cars will let you do the 10-second way (assuming you already have one working key) and (2) the locksmith can recode the key - in my case, for an extra $70... so you're talking about a hundred bucks to make a spare key (on top of the cost of the fob). However, the locksmith said MY car was NOT one of the 10-second coding cars and that I could still do it myself, but it would take 45 minutes and I should keep a charger on the car while doing it. Happy to say, he was wrong, and I was able to recode a new Sonic key in 10-seconds after he cut the key. The risk you have to take is that you can't attempt the reprogram before the key is cut because it simply won't go in... so you have to pay to get the fob cut and THEN try one of the reprogramming techniques. So, 5-stars if I ignore the small obstacles and just rate the product, and 3-stars up until the point I knew what to do.<ORIGINAL REVIEW>I want to love this. It's definitely a great value and the quality seems very good.I had two issues:1. Mine came with zero instructions. I sent a message to the seller and they quickly responded and asked what car I had (couldn't they tell from the item# that I ordered?) but the I never heard from them again. I looked on YouTube and it seems that programming these for my son's car is SUPER easy (Chevy Sonic) and can be done in seconds... BUT...2. You can't program them until the physical key is cut because you can't insert it. Herein lies the problem. No quickie key-cutting kiosk can make these kinds of keys (the rectangular slab with the irregular slot running lengthwise down the center). We have two local locksmiths - one doesn't do it, and the other had the nerve(!) to close their business a week before! :) I stopped at the dealer to see if they did it - nope, not locally. You have to get it done by the factory (which also supplies the FOB) and it costs about $150!So... if you can find a locksmith that makes these keys, this is a STEAL. If you can't, they're not gonna do you any good. Check with your locksmith first!

Good set of spare key fobs for Chevy vehicles as described
These keys fit my 2013 Chevy Equinox as advertised. They come uncut of course so you will need to find a place that will cut them to fit your vehicle. They feel solid and have some weight to them. I use them as spares to my Chevy original keys but work as described. If you need spare keys, these should be a good option for you.
