To charge the case, it has to be turned on. While it's on and charging, there are supposed to be LED lights showing the charge. My case would only stay on for a few seconds and the lights would go off. There was no charge icon on the phone either.I suppose there is a small chance I did something wrong, but with paltry instructions in broken english, it's hard to know one way or the other.

Solid battery case. Does a full recharge of the pixel XL, which means I can wait another year before upgrading my phone. Can come apart with a high enough fall though. Good surface texture

Bought this for long (photography) work days and was very excited to see that it supports data transfer via USB-C cable as I connect my camera to my phone to transfer images, but unfortunately for me the major selling point was falsely advertised as it does NOT actually do what it says and if you want to connect a cord to transfer data you'll need to take the phone out of the case.

The Google Pixel XL Battery Case is not well made. One of the major push bottom has fallen off and some times the battery will charge the Pixel phone when you want it to.

I've had the case about two months and the buttons for the power and volume have fallen off. I work in IT and do not have a crazy labor ridden type job and am surprised at the fragility of the case. Can't even use it now because of this.

If all that you are looking for is a backup battery then it does the job. However, if you are like me and connect it to your computer or car you will find out it does not allow your data functions to work, so you cannot use android auto and download pictures to the computer.

I tell everyone to get these cases instead of carrying around a plug and cord. I never have battery issues. Awesome

A waste of money. Takes forever to charge both phone and case.
