Snowdrop Ladies Black Thermal Long Johns

I bought theses long johns as I spend a lot of time outside and these helped me keep lovely and warm. They are thin so not bulky and uncomfortable, so lovely to wear

They kept me snug during the cold snap so I can't complain. I bought 14-16 having read the reviews, I would usually buy 12-14 but I didn't want them too tight. I found after the first wear the body stretched & I had to pull them up to my bra to keep them up, also the legs stop just above my socks!

Haven't actually worn them yet,but they feel lovely and soft and were a good length when I tried them on..I have had other items from this range and know they wash well..

Looked like bits of skin on them when they arrived. As if tried on and returned. I washed them. Lots of black dye came off when washing them. Who knows if that is toxic? They are scratchy and too short, l am only 5.4". They are not soft and have hard, scratchy edges. I have had good quality thermals, but the manufacturers are making a vast profit, with the cold weather problems. So they are expensive. These are not really thermals. The legs ride up. You would be better off with soft leggins and a soft fine tea shirt. They had a bad smell on them as well. I will buy a sports brand next time, from a proper sports shop.

These long pants are very good value for money, very warm and cosy under trousers in this cold weather. So good have ordered another pair!

I am a size 16 with slim legs and hips and ordered a size L which is very adequate, long body goes well up my back, and with a 28 inch inside leg touches my ankle bone. Past experience of lacy thermals indicates the "String vest" principal - the holes trap the heat - works the same in popcorn knit sweaters, rendering a light layer to be warm, and being light slim enough to go under an outer wear legging. Whilst not worn yet I expect these to be the same. Black a welcome change from white, which can lose its brightness.

Fit good under work trousers

I ordered medium size which I normally wear but they were too short and too tight. Otherwise quality good.
