A Happy Find
This is a book of timeless wisdom for everyday modern living, organised into distinct areas of self-improvement towards a happier life, with many simple tips and practical ideas in smaller bite-sized sections. It is the kind of book that just about anyone could read and gain inspiration from. Beautifully bound and type-set, it would make an excellent gift for someone who might either need cheering up or a friendly nudge of encouragement. It could be read either from cover to cover, or referred to at times when a specific problem becomes persistent - such as procrastination, anger or self-criticism. While the concepts are simple and light-hearted, they powerfully challenge the habitual limited thinking that can hamper happiness: potent reminders that being happy is within our own control. While many of the concepts were familiar to me, that did not take anything away from their value - on the contrary, it is one thing to know a theory, another thing to remember that theory throughout the multifarious activities of a day, and another thing actually putting it into practice so it becomes a good habit.

I was given this book last year as a gift, my aunty is the neighbour of Mr Tejvan Pettinger. I use this book whenever I feel low, I just open it up to a random page - Pettinger's way of words are completely mesmerising and wise.

A wonderful find.
At last, a book that deals with many life issues in a common sense and straight forward way. It is full of little gems of wisdom, set out in an easily accessible way. I wish this book had been around years ago. I found the sections on how to deal with negativity especially useful. I would recommend this book to anyone who is aiming for a more peaceful state of mind.(Isn't that most of us these days?)

HAPPINESS WILL FOLLOW YOU
An interesting and inspirational book. It's just the sort of work that I wish I had encountered earlier in life. HAPPINESS WILL FOLLOW YOU is filled with very wise advice on practical changes to thoughts and actions, which can help make day to day living less stressful and more peaceful and fulfilling. The book is well organised into concise and easily accessible self-contained sections. It can be read cover to cover or just dipped into when the need arises.

Fast-paced, wise-faced introduction to meditation and spirituality
A fast-paced, wise-faced introduction to meditation and the spiritual life by two Western students of the late meditation teacher Sri Chinmoy ( Meditation: Man-perfection in God-satisfaction ). Pitched at the absolute beginner, this book presumes neither previous knowledge nor haughty airs, and is a practical, down-to-earth starting point for the marathon journey that is self-knowledge. Humbly recommended.
