Excellent flavour, very good substitute for smoked pancetta, more meat and less fat. Is extremely salty though, so if cooking it use less than you would with pancetta, and taste before adding any salt. Very happy with it.

Lieferung erfolgte schnell mit hohen Versandkosten für 2 Kilo. Lieferung bestand aus 2 Teilen, wobei 1 Teil wesentlich kleiner war als das andere. Habe zuerst das kleinere Teil geöffnet und angeschnitten. Nur ein kleiner Teil des Schinkens war einigermaßen genießbar. je mehr Scheiben abgeschnitten wurden, umso härter wurde der Schinken. Man konnte ihn kaum beißen. Außerdem schmeckte der Schinken fürchterlich, wie verdorben. Mußte 2/3 des Schinkens wegwerfen. der 2. Schinken sieht äußerlich frischer aus. Wegen des Reinfalls mit dem einen Schinken habe ich den zweiten Schinken noch nicht probiert, denn ich habe keinen Appetit mehr darauf.
