It maybe me, but it didn’t work
I work on cars and was hoping to save a bit of money on some audi software.But I couldn’t get this to work.The cable quality seemed great but there was no ease of use for me.I’m not 100% technically so I could just be me here

Do not buy this cable
This cable connects pin 16 on the ODB-II connector (i.e. battery power) to pin 1 on the USB connection (i.e. Vcc). This means that if you use this cable to connect your car to your laptop then you will deliver 12V from your car battery directly into your USB port! USB power is supposed to be 5V, and higher input voltages will most likely permanently damage your USB port, as well as any unfortunate devices which also happen to be connected to your laptop at the same time.How do I know this? Well I was dumb enough to plug this cable into a laptop which was connected to a bunch of other USB devices. This resulted in the immediate destruction of multiple devices, including 2 USB hubs and a rather expensive CAN adaptor.
