Excellent stove
This was a great buy, the wind guards come in handy and the stove in general is of sturdy build. I used a 5kg butane gas cylinder which was easy to fit as well as a gas regulator. The whole thing performed quite well, although i wouldnt say the griddle heat is distributed as well as i thought it would - when we toasted bread it did it better on the top of the griddle compared to the bottom, which was a shame as we had to constantly switch the toast around. Also, it would be nice if it had something to stop the lid flipping back if not attached to the wind guards, as when i was packing it away it flipped back and i dented it! But overall a good item to take camping.

Good garden stuff but not camping
good quality, but not real portable. because you need to buy big gas container for it. But if you have car u can try it.

Excellent, sets a new gold standard for camping stoves
This is a fabulous stove, the best I've ever used for camping. It is well made and folds flat without having to fiddle about or dismantle it in any way like some other stoves. The built-in windshields are almost as high as the rear cover and are as effective as one can get. However, the crowning glory on this stove is its griddle. This is not only brilliant for bacon, sausages etc but also cooks toast in a couple of minutes, which has been the bugbear of many other camping stoves with grill pans - they take ages to cook toast. The griddle takes two slices from a large loaf and will toast them before the kettle boils! Cooking the sausages and bacon was similar to a BBQ as the fat drips off the meat and causes a smoking effect - very tasty indeed. Any remaining fat can be cleaned from a pull-out draw under the cooker. The unit is really easy to clean as the griddle top and the two cooker tops just lift off and then slot back into their respective holes when reassembling. Those are the only loose parts - it's so good not to mess about with a separate grill pan.I disagree with the product description which states, "The griddle can also be used as a second conventional burner." In the instruction booklet it advises against this as the pan bottoms could damage the non-stick coating. The only thing missing from the stove is a carrying handle but that is a very minor point. In fact I'm going to get a folding metal handle and pop-rivet it to the rear of the stove - then it will be perfect!

This is great but be careful of the griddle as it can have flames come up quite high. It is great for cooking on.

Great for healthy eating and the best camping cooker I've used.
I've had this for several years now for fishing and it's quite simply the best camping cooker I've used.Pros. The griddle is a lot healthier than a frying pan. It's also both a lot quieter and easier to use than grills as these need extra space to allow the grill pan to go in and out.I cook 4 chipolatas and 2 thick rashers of bacon on the griddle. At the same time I'm using the ring to heat up beans or tomatoes, and then to boil a kettle. I also use the ring for my evening meals of re-heated stew etc.Whilst it does light with the push-button ignition this is loud, and instead I use a lighter with a long stick. To use this to light the griddle do so via the ring. You don't need to turn on the gas on the ring, just the griddle. The lid and the side windshields give some protection from gusts, more especially to the griddle. At night you could close the lid to keep out unwanted visitors such as rats, although this isn't a problem where I fish. You can't do this with most grills. It's easy to clean, especially as the fat drips down to a removable tray on the base.It looks as though a previous reviewer missed the carrying handle as I did at first (strangely it's not featured in the blurb). It's a hand slot on the side of the cooker.Cons. Unlike some other cookers there's no simmer setting so it's easy to turn the gas off.I'd prefer a locking facility on the side windshields as sometimes they fall down (a common problem on camping cookers in general).

Nice product
Recently took this on a camping trip so had chance to try it out. Build quality is good although I had to initially dismantle it in order to tighten the feet which were very loose (not something I would have expected on a new product). The cover was also slightly misaligned so although the side windshields did fit, one side occasionally became detached.Left ring burner was fine but the griddle on the right side was excellent. It's pretty powerful so you need to watch you don't burn stuff but it generally outperformed the traditional ring burner by a long shot. It does toast brilliantly along with your regular fry-up. It's basically like having a mini Foreman grill to cook on, complete with drip tray so it's also pretty healthy. One last thing - because the burner is set low into the frame the wind never blew it out unlike the ring burner which went out several times in high wind, even with the wind shield, a kitchen stand wind shield & a windbreak.Would definitely recommend!
