Cute little book to read before bed to get my son into the Christmas spirit. Nice story & pictures.

Cute for my 3 and 4 year old. I did the 25 days of Christmas books, and this one was included. It was a perfect length to keep their attention, and it was short enough to be a bedtime story. The pictures are large, bright and colorful.

Every Christmas season I like to add to my daughter's collection of Christmas books and this one has vastly become one of her favorites. The story is about Oliver, a young elf who is excited to find out what his job will be for the Christmas season. Each of his family members takes him to work with them and he tries to help in the toy workshop, the bike shop, the bakery, and the writer's workshop, but in each of these places, he finds he's too little or clumsy to complete the tasks. He is sad because he feels he has nothing to contribute to Santa's team until he meets a small reindeer named Dot, who is having trouble learning to fly. They find friendship together and they also find their niche making small ornaments and cards as gifts for the other elves. I like the moral of the story that no matter how young you are, you can always find a way to help or find something that you are good at. It's very relatable to young children. The illustrations are colorful and engaging and the text keeps a young child's interest through the entire story without being too short or too wordy. There is also a sheet of stickers included with the book. Overall, this is a great addition to our Christmas collection that we will read for years to come.

So cute for Christmas

I found this to be an enjoyable read. My boys liked it (they are 4 and 6). It is a short story about a little elf that feels he's too little to be helpful. Eventually he realizes how valuable he is, no matter his age or size. It is written simply so it should be enjoyed by young children, who I feel it speaks most to, as they are often wanting to be helpful and feel frustrated when they can't do things. All in all I would recommend this as a good book to have in the Christmas library.

Grandson loves theses books

I needed a book for my sons Kindergarten gift exchange. It was required to be Kindergarten friendly book and under $5. I picked this one. I read it before sending it off to make sure it was ok. This book is cute. It's perfect for a girl or a boy, which was a big thing for me since I didn't know who would get it. The pictures are fun to look at as well. I would consider buying it again for my own kids enjoyment! My son got a Thomas coloring book. He would've rather had this one.

I have four grandchildren, 3 of them under 4. They absolutely love this book, both the pictures and the story itself. Great reading for the Christmas season or any time of year actually!

my littles will love this...the stickers are cute.. illustrations are lovely, clear and large..story not too long...few sentences per page...brought to come with Elfie when he arrives on the 1st

Nos gusto mucho. Relacion calidad precio estaba muy bien y trae pegatinas

Muy bonito, con una cara de pegatinas al final del libro. No es muy grande, los dibujos muy bonitos y el tema: en una familia de elfos hay uno muy pequeño que tiene problemas para encontrar su lugar en el taller de papá Noel. Lo recomiendo.
