A modern take on the elevated dog bowl, the Brodie Bowl takes elevated pet feeders to a new level. Literally. Our patented, step-up, elevated dog bowl is designed to provide more comfort for your dog or cat during the feeding process. By placing your pet in an ergonomically correct feeding position, gravity can better move food down the esophagus, making it easier on the digestive system. We came up with the Brodie Bowl design when our dog Brodie was diagnosed with canine megaesophagus. We had tried countless elevated dog bowls and eating strategies, but he continued regurgitating his food. Then, our vet recommended having him eat meals on our stairs at home so he would be in an upright, angled position. And it worked. After that, we considered what it might be like for all pets to eat the way they do - on all fours, hunched over a bowl, inches from the ground. We thought, with or without megaesophagus, all pets deserve a comfortable feeding experience. That's how the Brodie Bowl was born.
