Eliminated Electro-Magnetic Interference!
I would not have guessed that a new SONY Bravia would create an electromagnetic 'storm' for a Heath Kit clock, which would jump five, ten, twenty minutes fast and / or slow within a few hours. Thank goodness for the internet. Within a few quick searches the answer was revealed : EMI could be (and was) the cause. After plugging the Bridea filter between the outlet and the existing devices (SONY, speakers, clock, etc), the clock settled down without a shutter and kept perfect time thereafter. The filter is functional, easy to install, noiseless and has excellent value. Peace of mind, too, if human exposure to EMI is an issue.

Not safe, and doesn't work
NOT A SAFE PRODUCT!!! This electricity filter is not built well for filtering electrical noise as it is advertised. Not worth the money, don't be fooled by the size. Holds a lot of power if you unplug it do not touch the terminals or it might shock you. This product is built to be used like a UPS, but instead of using a battery, it's a capacitor. It filters some high frequency noise, and for my speakers it worked for a minute and then stopped working shortly after. I bought the product because I wanted it immediately and this one would ship the fastest. Probably because it's not worth the money. I didn't read the reviews until afterward, and I saw the one that said it shocked them after unplugged. That made me very concerned, so I tested it and it seemed to work until I walked away and came back. Once I came back the same noise I was trying to eliminate was back and so I unplugged it and took a screwdriver and held it in the neutral terminal then touched the positive terminal and a huge spark came off the device. This is not a safe product to have around the house, and doesn't even work as advertised.

Stops noise
Helped stop noise from utensils using the same line

Not for use to filter noise effecting AM or FM Radio when plugged in
Product is well built but does not work to reduce or remove line noise that effects AM or FM radio reception while connected to home AC power outlets.

Helps with reducing flicker on dimmable lights
Used this device to minimize flicker on all our dimmable lights in the house when the hybrid plug in is being charged. This is a dramatic improvement and easy to test for yourself. Also, other than what I originally assumed, it can be plugged in at any outlet (does not need to be feeding a particular device, or in a particular circuit).

It will get you zapped!
EMI filtration capability is just like a Green Wave but when you unplug it from the wall, you should not touch the male plug conductors on the filter or you will get zapped!!! It was as bad as getting zapped by a big AC unit capacitor. So you need to discharge it using a screw driver or something to avoid it. I have 20 Green waves and none of them need to be discharged after being unplugged.

Fixed nuisance tripping caused by a laser printer
My application for this device was somewhat unusual. I wanted to use it on a laser printer to prevent noise from the printer getting back onto the AFCI breaker and causing a nuisance trip. It worked perfectly in doing that, so for me this is a big win. I think it very likely that it would solve similar nuisance tripping problems from other tools and appliances. For those interested, the breaker was a Square-D QO combination GFCI/AFCI with purple button. I had some concern about the power handling capability as I didn't find that important information in the product info. However, the actual device has a sticker saying the max load was 15A, which would be adequate for almost anything. My large printer draws at least 10A when printing and at startup. I did not notice this filter warming up at all. Some things to consider are the size and the claims. The device is fairly bulky so beware of that if something has to be pushed up against the wall where it is plugged in. The other thing are the claims about keeping a healthy environment, or generally being needed to improve the function of some devices such as musical instruments. All I can say about the health benefits of using this devices is that I am skeptical, and could imagine certain types of magnetic radiation being higher in the near field of this device that without. It would not concern me either way. As far as needing it to preserve the best lifetime or performance of a specific load, that is possible but only in rare cases. The great majority of people living on city power have good enough electricity and good enough appliances to where there would be no benefit. If not, then this gadget might be a fix, but only if the problem is high frequency noise. For these reasons, and the fairly high cost, I demote it by one star.

Great device, better than Greenwave in some cases
We have two sources of high frequency noise 6kHz heat pump and 32kHz solar inverter. These plugs work good for second one, but at least they do not buzz as much for the first. Greenwave plugs vibrate on lower frequency despite having the same design (X2 capacitor) inside. People say it increases magnetic field, yes, it’s expected, just don’t put close to you bed, but it sucks in HF noise for sure. It doesn’t consume much electricity, the meter will show High Amperage, the current is flowing, but the power isn’t used much, it’s 0.06Wh. 10 times less than effecting LED bulb. All in all solid product for reasonable price. It won’t improve your health, but it can help with various interference (light flickering, static noise from computer screens etc) in your electronics if you have measure source of electric noise around.
