Great maintenence item ladies!
This is perfect for ladies who want to look their best and not fry their hair covering their roots regularly. It keeps your hair looking its best. I don't like how the color will come off on your hands when you run hands through hair or scratch your scalp but overall, excellent product that I use regularly.

Terrible product
Title: "Disappointing Experience: Rita Hazan Root Concealer Touch Up Spray Review"My recent encounter with the Rita Hazan Root Concealer Touch Up Spray left me thoroughly dissatisfied, as the product failed to meet its claims and presented a frustrating customer service experience. Here's a breakdown of my disappointing encounter with this root touch-up spray:**Color Discrepancy**: The most glaring issue with this product was the significant mismatch between the advertised color description and the actual result upon application. Despite carefully selecting what seemed to be a suitable shade based on the provided options, the spray left me with an unnatural and off-putting hue that bore little resemblance to the promised color.**Ineffective Coverage**: Not only did the color fail to match my hair, but the coverage provided by the spray was also subpar. Instead of seamlessly blending with my roots as expected, the product left visible streaks and uneven patches, drawing attention to rather than concealing the problem areas.**Inability to Return**: Adding to my frustration was the discovery that the product was non-returnable, leaving me stuck with a spray that not only failed to deliver the desired results but also could not be exchanged for a more suitable alternative. This lack of flexibility in returning or exchanging the item reflects poorly on the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction.**Quality Concerns**: In addition to the color mismatch and inadequate coverage, the overall quality of the product left much to be desired. The spray felt sticky and heavy on my hair, lacking the lightweight and natural feel I typically seek in root touch-up products. Rather than enhancing my hairstyle, it detracted from it with its visible and unnatural appearance. The absence of support in resolving issues further reinforced my negative impression of both the product and the brand's commitment to customer care.In conclusion, my experience with the Rita Hazan Root Concealer Touch Up Spray was highly disappointing, characterized by a color mismatch, ineffective coverage, inability to return, and unsatisfactory customer service. The product's failure to deliver on its promises, coupled with the lack of recourse for dissatisfied customers, has left me feeling let down and disillusioned with the brand. I would caution others against investing in this root touch-up spray, as my own encounter serves as a cautionary tale of unmet expectations and inadequate support in rectifying product-related grievances.

How to use correctly :)
I’m in my late 40s and started going grey in my early 20s. I color my roots religiously every 4 weeks. I’ve been using this root spray since it came out 15-20 years ago when root sprays were new. This stuff works great to camouflage regrowth around week 2 1/2-3, but there are some tips and tricks. First, do not attempt to do your whole head. If you need that much spray you should just color your roots! I only do my part and my front hairline, maybe my temples. Second, prime your pump!! Those who complain of it spraying black need to prime the pump first. Whatever product is in the nozzle will oxidize and turn dark, so always do a first spray on a tissue. That first spray will be blackish and then quickly become the color it’s supposed to be. Third, never point and shoot, always be moving your hand L-R back and forth in quick bursts. You want to sweep it in, not have it shoot a big splotch in one spot. I also recommend covering your face or ear with your other hand so you don’t get overspray everywhere. Micellar water takes any overspray off skin instantly, so keep some on hand. Last, only use just enough to blend your greys - too much does get a little thick feeling on your scalp and can be a little itchy, so don’t overdo it. If you do all these things, you will appreciate this product! Spray lasts until you wash it out, except maybe a tiny bit around the hairline which gets wet when I wash my face am and pm. It’s also way cheaper now (like half) compared to when it came out at Sephora. I’ve used the Red for many years on various colors of copper and auburn and just switched to light brown as I’ve blended more brown into my copper. The light brown is great - my base is a level 6 and my length an 8. I have perfectly disguised roots a tad darker than my length, which is exactly what I want. HIGHLY recommend this, especially if you can’t stand when your grey/white hair starts coming in. It’s a quality product!

Best Root Concealer That I Have Found!
I have been using Rita Hazan Root Concealer Touch Up Spray for years. I can't be without it. For a woman who gets her hair colored every four to five weeks, I appreciate this root touch up concealer spray so much. I use the "Light Brown" color for my roots and my hair is colored blonde with brown tones underneath. It does the job to hide the roots...it may not match perfectly but it conceals the roots which is what I want. I only use this concealer when my roots start to show, about by week 3. I don't wash my hair everyday so there is no need to use it everyday. Out of all of the root concealer sprays out there on the market-and I have tried them all, this one is by far the best and the easiest to use. It doesn't rub out on my clothes or sheets as some people have claimed, there may be a slight chemical odor, but it quickly dissipates. The spray is 2 ounces, and lasts me for months...but I'm not dousing my hair with it daily-just quick pulse sprays where my roots show-mainly on the crown where my part is. Again, I have four backup cans sitting in my cabinet-can't be without this!
