Delicious ketchup
To me, this brand has been my go to for a few years. If you're like me and you love ketchup to taste like tomato you'll love Sir Kensington ketchup. I really dislike Heinz as it's too vinegary and has little tomato flavor. Hunt's is not bad, but I like this brand even more. This also makes a great topping on meatloaf before popping it into the oven.

Best ketchup
Best ketchup but needs a little sweetness and more of a zing to it.

Rich, Tangy, Sweet, Gourmet Ketchup
After seeing Sir Kensington's Classic Ketchup for years, I finally decided to try some, picking up a single-serve packet of it at my local Whole Foods in Colonie, New York. I liked it so much that I took the plunge and ordered one 20-oz. bottle of it, hoping it would taste just as good. It not only did that, but it tasted even better. It's just a shame that the company has decided to discontinue this wonderful product; consumers need a gourmet alternative to the usual ketchup you get at the supermarket, where you basically have two main choices.

I Wanted To Love This
Shelf stable Ketchup is my dream. This was good, but I still just want room temperature fresh ketchup. The kind I can only seem to get from packets. Sir Kensington's makes some amazingly good mayonnaise, but this ketchup was a miss for me. The texture was off having an almost tomato paste quality. Though I enjoyed it, I won't buy it again. I'll go back to trying to find smaller and smaller portions of Heinz Ketchup that I don't need to refrigerate.

Let's talk Ketchup
I realize I risk insinuating presenting myself as a person who collects things in jars and hides them under my bed for having the time to talk ketchup, but I have moral obligations as a southern boy. I was on a date and we stopped for some french fries before seeing a concert. I needed some grease on my stomach in case the date went badly, I could just... drink myself through it. Upon the arrival of my fried potato wedges, I grabbed what appeared to be ketchup, though I wasn't familiar with the brand. I did find the little Monopoly character on it cute, so I threw caution to the wind. I like Monopoly. One thing is common amongst poor, okay, and wealthy southerners, we all use the same ketchup. It's simply common knowledge... like breathing. I squeezed some to the side of my fries and then dipped one of them into this thick concoction. Let's just say, I have learned to carry a British accent and I now tell people I am from a distinguished village a few hours outside London. This ketchup is so good.. soooooo good. Like, go home to visit family and at the family barbecue, whilst sitting at the table letting the family see how fabulous I look, I pull my own ketchup out from my man bag and squeeze this heavenly creation upon my three-ply paper plate. Momma screams and passes out, Poppa walks away in disdain... my younger cousins giggle from the kid's table at my gall. Forget them.. forget them all, how dare these common people judge me! I am from a distinguished village outside London.. and we use Sir Kensington's Ketchup!

The Ideal Ketchup for sugar-sensitive folks
I really love the flavor of this. Someone mentioned that the green bell pepper overpowers the tomato - it could be an issue of palates but I found the green bell pepper really rounded out and enhanced the tomato flavor. The thickness is very much tomato paste-y which I personally quite enjoy. This tastes closer to real food. The sweetness is perfect, and I say that as someone who is quite sensitive to sugar. If you're looking for a ketchup that's a LOT less junky than the old standbys - definitely give this a try.
