Bought for a side gate and does its job, chunky and strong, no need to go get a key now. hope I remember the code though if dementia ever kicks in.

I bought 3 of these 3/9/25 It's now 6/10/25 and one has failed completely (won't unlock) and another is clearly faulty and very difficult to lock/unlock, so I expect that one to fail completely very soon too. The third one has only been locked/unlocked once or twice. The failed one has only been operated 10 times? Guess when the return window closed? 2 days ago 4th Oct. Draw your own conclusions as to whether these are any good or not.... Update 1/11/25 All three have now failed. So long as you have bolt croppers or angle grinder to hand it might not be a problem! Also, it would appear that I can't return them for a refund despite them being unfit for purpose.

Good range of letters, that makes it easy to have a number of words. Robust feel to the lock, which is of a really satisfactory weight. Like previous reviewers there were no instructions included on reseting the password. To reset the password: 1.) Open the lock using the preset code (all the raised letters in line with the white marks) 2.) Turn the metal bar 180 degrees 3.) Twist the end cap by 90 degrees (side with the metal disk, which has 'Reset' written on it) 4.) Align your new password. 5.) Twist the end cap back to the original position. 6.) Lock the padlock - done.

Having a combination lock using good-sized letters is so apt for our older club members The lock is easy to use , is very robust and gives us a good level of security. It's exceptionally good value and was delivered quickly. Thank you very much we are very pleased with it. Phil W.
