The media could not be loaded.  I was pleasantly surprised by these LEGO train tracks.For the record, I pride myself on being a LEGO purist (someone who tries to only purchase authentic LEGO while avoiding LEGO knock-offs). Having said that, the LEGO brand train tracks are so expensive and tough to accumulate in mass quantity due to their cost, so I've resorted to finding alternatives.As a result, I thought I would give these a chance and see how they fit the LEGO brand tracks. I was specifically attracted to this set because you get 18 straight train tracks, which are usually the most needed and desired. The 6 curved tracks were a nice addition, for a total of 24 tracks. The overall price for these 24 tracks was less than $1 per track, which is about half the price you would pay with the actual LEGO brand.These tracks fit perfectly with the LEGO brand tracks and they work perfectly with LEGO brand trains (see my video and images). I honestly couldn't tell a difference between these train tracks and the LEGO brand tracks. The only slight difference I noticed (which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5) is that the coloring is slightly off. The non-LEGO brand tracks are a slightly lighter grey (very tough to even notice) when compared to the LEGO brand tracks.If you're interested in the LEGO brand tracks, then check out this link:  LEGO City Flexible Tracks 7499 Train Toy Accessory .If you're interested in a much more cost-friendly alternative that works just as well, then I would recommend these tracks because the quality seems good, and they fit perfectly with the LEGO brand tracks/trains. Lastly, you may want to purchase a couple sets of these tracks to ensure you have enough track to really get your train some distance and complete a full circle.Pros:- They are almost identical when it comes to the color of the LEGO brand tracks.- They are completely compatible with the LEGO brand tracks and trains. (I have both mixed together and they connect just fine)- They are far more cost effective when compared to the more expensive LEGO brand tracks.- You get more straight tracks with this set when compared to what LEGO offers.Cons:- When using LEGO brand baseplates, the tracks don’t entirely align with the studs on the plate, thus not sticking.- Only one negative... otherwise good.If my review was helpful, please let me know below. These are good tracks, quality is great they fit together well etc. if this is the first set you get though, you need two packs. There aren’t enough curved pieces to make a loop so we end up with a u shaped track. They are not LEGO but they are good quality and you can’t tell the difference. They fit the train we have perfectly (which we found in a goodwill bin, sparking an all new collection). My son spent the evening staging horrible train crashes...

My girlfriend bought me a Lego Christmas train for my birthday (im a nerd and a train nut). We planned to put it around the tree during the holidays. The train only came with a small loop of track, and our tree this year wound up being pretty wide at the bottom. Long story short: We needed more track to make the loop bigger, or the train would be lost under the tree.Unfortunately most of the official Lego brand tracks were more expensive, or could not ship in time to make it before the holidays were over. After reading the reviews I tried these tracks. They came in a few days. Well packed, in a simple brown box which will be great for storage as others have mentioned. As for appearance there a few small differences. There is no "Lego" lettering on each dimple, the pattern on the underside is slightly different, and they are slightly lighter grey then the official Lego tracks. From a few feet away however these differences are not noticeable. Functionally they work just as well as the real thing. Some people here mentioned that the connections between pieces of track is a bit more loose then with Lego brand, but I didn't notice that. They join well to each other, as well as the Lego tracks. The dimples are sized/spaced correctly and connect easily to other official Lego pieces.All in all a great cost effective buy.

My son has the Lego Hogwart's Express, which came with a very small amount of track. I bought him the additional box of lego track, which ran in a small circle. For Christmas and his birthday he got all of the other Harry Potter sets, which take up a huge amount of room. He wanted enough lego track to go around all of it. 2 boxes of this was equivalent to 3 boxes of the other track for $42 instead of $60. All fits together perfectly, no issues between this generic and actual lego brand.

This fit great with my existing tracks, including some 9v track that I have.The only thing that I have found that didn't work as wells as the lego brand tracks is if you want to snap brick underneath a track joint, it didn't fit. On top was okay, but beneath was not. Not a big deal for me though. I will be ordering more of these.

Durable and well-made. Functions just like the regular LEGO tracks at a fraction of the cost. I was a little disappointed to find out that the pack doesn’t make a full circle but that’s on me for not doing the math. Other than that, I recommend these as extension tracks.

These are a great match to the track I already have, and not terribly expensive.

Order these for my grandson he loved them was everything we expected.
