With the gas cylinder, this makes a very easy convertible (sit-to-stand) desk for a significantly lower cost. I can move it up or down with two fingers. This is completely silent compared to the motor required to move a convertible desktop up or down. In addition, there is a lot of flexibility to reposition the displays to show my coworker something or keep my screen semi-private. Build quality is excellent. This is slightly less stable than a full convertible desk and a I replaced a couple plastic pieces to hold the monitors to the arm, but the ability to position my displays any way I want is not something I could do with a convertible desk. I replaced plastic burled knob screws with extra hex-head screws that were leftover because there are two ways to mount the arm, each with their own parts. After I correctly tightened the tension on the gas cylinder, I had no problem with the monitors sagging down regardless of what height I left the arm at.

Great product and well worth the money. Very durable and well constructed. I really like the heavy duty feel a d the keyboard and extra tray are great. The only complaint would be the instructions. They are extremely well illustrated, however there is zero written instructions so it's a bit of a challenge but in the end it's actually very easy to setup, but explanation on a few steps would go a very long way instead of pretty pictures.

Pretty good for the price.One thing I don’t like is how bouncy the keyboard tray is when using it in the standing position.I was also under the impression that the arm was telescoping but it’s not, so that was a bit disappointing.It was a bit more time consuming to assemble and install than I expected, but over all I’m fairly pleased with my purchase.I think I would have liked the varidesk better, but this is a decently cheaper alternative.

In my office, mostly people in offices, use this type of sit/stand workstation. I am in a cubicle and was worried about how hard was going to be to set it up....or if i was going to be able to install it in a cubicle area. This looks and feel as good and sturdy as the major brand (ergotron workfit)one which is way more expensive.

Was hopeful this would be an acceptable option to Varidesk... bad idea. It's too bulky and takes up entire desk when down. Not stable enough for someone who types constantly. There was a piece broken off the under side of plastic keyboard tray on arrival but decided to try anyway. Took me a few weeks to find time to clear desk and install. Use it 2-3 weeks and removed it.

The unit can be a little bouncy but for the price and what i need it for is just fine. I did not find it hard to assemble.

Very happy with this purchase. It was a two person job to get it fully put together/installed and took us about 30 minutes. It has changed my life! I work from home and have days where it is impossible to get away from my desk. Being able to stand at will means fewer back issues.

The product came within a week however it is not usable because the tray is too heavy and the stand doesn’t hold the weight therefore returning it for refund.
