Very effective at taking the edge off of falls during snowboarding. Noticed a significant difference in how much pain I was in after wearing these. Falls don’t hurt much and also great insulation for sitting down in the snow. These shorts, plus a helmet, will protect you from pretty much every common injury on the mountain.Measure yourself first before ordering, size guide is very accurate. It is also a snug fit, which is what you want. Make sure you get slightly baggy trousers for these because it adds about an inch to each side of your bum. It’ll make your bum look a bit funny but well worth it for the protection.Quality of the padding is high, the Velcro bits not as much. However, it was effective, so didn’t take any stars off for that.Highly recommend for snowboarding, particularly for beginners.

I bought them to use for wakeboarding park and wear under wetsuit. I have few crashes before and after and I must say they make a difference, my bottom is now well protected. The design is grate, protectors located in all sensible places and they do now restrict your movements. You have to choose size 2 times bigger – I wear M so XL pants fits me well. They are cheap (similar products are for £40-60) and so is the material quality. All stiches especially those around the mesh are itchy and you want be able to wear the pans without boxer type underpants. Material is polyester and so do not breathe, for me in water or I think snowboarding should not be problem but any summer sports …, there is a ventilating mesh so at lease your balls will not boil but I do not think this would be comfy. So in my opinion it is well designed cheap product which do the job well so I will buy it again.

These are a bit scratchy against the skin but they are a nice snug fit and the padding feels good.They also have velcro adjustment at the waistband front to achieve a good fit.For the price, you can't go wrong.

They soften the blows when hitting the ground well and for a snowboarder sitting down your backside doesn't go numb from the cold because it offers a couple of layers of protection.

Fit well if you take great care in selecting correct size. Not tested them in action as not fallen yet. They were bought to go skiing after a replacement hip.

The item is very well made and should last well. The padding is good and is in all of the places you would need. I thought it might look like I was wearing a nappy with all this padding, but it doesn't and is easily hidden under trousers. Very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely essential for learning to snowboard! My 12 year old forgot to put them on one day whilst learning and was ready to give up and go back to skis!!!
