Hair Color Root Touch Up Powder by Color Harmony: Conceals Grey and Dark Roots, Water Resistant Cover-Up; Non-Sticky, Simple To Apply and Mess-Free Root Concealer Mascara (Medium Brown)

I had been using a spray version of this but it didn't work well when I traveled and would drip everywhere when I sprayed it. I had also used regular dark eye shadow but the squares were too small. So I opted for this version. Here are a few tips I've found that make application easier:1. Inevitably it will get all over the counter so put a towel down before using it2. Spray a little hairspray on the area you want to cover up - this helps it go on easier and stay on3. Use a makeup sponge to apply. I've found the brush just doesn't work that well so I use a make up sponge when I apply it. This helps me to get larger areas covered faster and works better than any brush I've tried.4. I apply this before I put my makeup on as sometimes some powder gets on my forehead and so it's just easier to put this on before I put my makeup on.To me this is the best product I've found to cover up grays in between coloring's. I like the convenience of the thin case for travel and storage and when I apply with a make up sponge, I have no issues with coverage.

Holy cow, this is miraculous! I just started having my hair colored, because I have too many grays where I most like to part it. It is EXPENSIVE! In trying to avoid going back to the salon every few weeks for a touch up, I searched for temporary solution. This is the BEST (for me). I keep a fresh q-tip handy when applying, because I am often applying it in a hurry, and it helps get any excess off my scalp. It really doesn't take much to cover those grays right up! Upon very close inspection in the sunlight, I can sort of see the grays, but it's subtle enough that I doubt anyone else would notice them. I estimate that I'll be able to apply this for a full 3 months between touchups. (It's already been 1.5 months since my color.)

I brought this for my first few grey hairs, it came few days earlier than it promised, I like that. The texture is in powder form, I don't think it can cover singer hair, but if you put it on the area around those grey hairs, it covers up pretty good.My hair is in dark brown colour, so this one is perfect for me. Never try if it would get on clothes or pillow case, it definitely can stay on your hair for more than few hours.Happy for this product, it works for me.

So far so good! I’m happy with the way it feels and looks to cover my hair thinning on my temples (I’m 33). It doesn’t seem to be flakey or clumpy, which I often see in people’s hair (I’m a dermatology PA and look at about 20 scalps per day, so I see a lot of hair concealer that looks bad). I like the container it comes with the the double-sided brush is easy to use. I would recommend this and I’ll probably buy it again when I run out (which will probably be a while).

I've used quite a few products to cover those nasty greys they grow in with my roots, but this by far is the easiest and most effective. No arisols, no mess and very quick to apply (not sure how it would look if one had all grey roots; mine are just a little salt with the pepper :))also lasts long despite sweating etc and doesn't come off on my clothes or pillows.

This stuff really works. And best of all it is ammonia free. I don’t use anything with ammonia bc it’s so bad for you and it’s hard to find products without it. But this one is. Also super simple to put on, just brush on and it doesn’t stain your scalp. You’ll just need to practice a couple of times to avoid scalp.

Had almost an "ash" tone to it....what a waste and I can't return it!!!

Works great covering grey roots in dark hair. I only use on my part. It allows me to wait longer between coloring. It does come off in my hands. If I forget and scratch my head, and then touch my face, I end up with dark smudges on my skin. Embarrassing! I apply it more lightly now, it still covers, but less comes off.
