Better than anticipated. Worked without delay or problems. Inflated 5-10 ply RV tires from 74 psi to 80 psi quickly and efficiently. Took about 2-3 minutes on each tire. The unit is quiet and does not overheat like most others. Impressive-ordering another one for home use. This is actually better and more accurate than my heavy duty air compressor.

This air pump works really well, will blow up a car tire in a few minutes. Keep your battery charge and it will never fail you. I keep mine in my vehicle.

Works great. It's lightweight, works quickly and is easy to use. The only issue I see is that the reading for the psi is off (just by .5 lb to 1 lb) when compared to my vehicles psi sensor, which is accurate.

For the price this is a great unit. It brought my 17 inch charger tires from 28 lbs to 36 lbs in less than a minute.a lot better than lugging around a heavy air tank.even the noise level is not efensive.very happy with my purchase.comes as a bare tool so you will need battery and charger if you dont already have craftsman 20 volt tools

This Craftsman V20 Cordless Tire Inflator has quickly become one of my favorite practical tools. I already have Craftsman V20 batteries from other tools, so getting this bare tool inflator was a no-brainer for car and bike maintenance. The design is compact and the fact that it’s cordless means I can take it anywhere – I’ve used it in the driveway, at the park for bike tires, and even packed it on a road trip. To use it, you just snap in the battery, attach the hose to your tire valve (it has a threaded connector which feels secure), and set your desired pressure on the digital gauge. Then hit the button and it inflates automatically and shuts off once it reaches the set PSI. I’ve used it on car tires that were around 5-10 PSI low and it topped them up within a minute or so each – very convenient not having to find a gas station with a working pump. The digital gauge seems accurate; I cross-checked with a handheld tire gauge and it was spot on. It’s also great for bike tires and sports balls (comes with a couple adapters for those). The maximum is 150 PSI which is plenty even for my road bike tires. One of the things I appreciate is the built-in LED light – it’s small, but enough to illuminate the tire valve area if you’re inflating in the dark, which I had to do once when I discovered a low tire early morning. Noise-wise, it’s not too loud, sounds like a typical small compressor, but since it works fast it’s done before it can annoy anyone. After filling four car tires and a few basketballs on one charge (with a 2Ah battery), it still had juice left, so it’s reasonably efficient. The build feels solid, with compartments on board to store the hose and the accessory tips so they don’t get lost. Overall, this inflator is a hugely handy addition to my tool kit. No more quarters spent on gas station air pumps – this thing gives me quick, reliable inflating anywhere, anytime.

I have a selection of Craftsman V20 tools and batteries so I thought I would add this tool to my inventory. It works great and being battery operated is perfect. No more firing up the compressor, dragging the hose out and moving the vehicle to the hose. I've used it several times and it performed flawlessly.
