So yummy and moorish. Once you start eating it, its very hard to stop.

This is great for when I am feeling home sick as there are few things that say South Africa like a stokkie of droewors.As a personal preference this is slightly drier than I like it but it makes sense when considering it is catering for all tastes.Absolute must to follow the instructions and let the packet air for a bit as this helps with the texture.Can not comment on how well it stores as it never lasts long enough in our house for it to matter.

Is this the most amazing dry wors? No. Is it great delivered next day to deal with a craving, absolutely . Taste good just I imagine it would be better fresher, prepackaged tends to dry out a bit . Will order again

Not as good as expected. Si dry they where powdery, not how if us supposed to be.

It says:“We only use 100% beef.”The implication is that the product is made solely from beef and spices. This is not accurate. The sausage also contains cereals. The listing mentions both wheat and maize. This is a way of cheapening the product. Worse, it’s a potential hazard for a coeliac, who, relying on the description, might eat this and suffer a severe reaction. Fortunately, I’m not a coeliac, but I don’t appreciate cereals in my sausage and am going to say so. The “droewors” also includes flavour enhancer E635 (which is a mixture of disodium inosinate and disodium guanylate, used to fake “umami flavour”). Somehow I don’t think Boers on the veldt were putting such things in their sausages.

Not far off from the drywors one could expect to find back home in SA. I really enjoyed the blend of spices. Nice flavour. On the drier side which was great as well. I will definitely be sticking with this brand from now on. 4 and a half out of 5.

I saw a lot of other reviews mentioning that the product was dry, but I've only had good experiences with this seller, and I figured maybe they were picky. Sadly though, they were right. Almost inedibly dry and really, really over salty. I don't know if this is a bad batch or what went wrong, because as I said, I've purchased from this seller 14 times and I've never had a problem with their products. Maybe skip these, but do check out their Biltong Bites, they're great.
