I gave this to a friend for her birthday. She loved it. Personally I thought it’s a shame it was on 11ct. I normally like 14+, or the option would have been good.

I ordered this for my wife who loves anything crafty,plus who doesn't like this highland cow in the bath,he's so adorable. The kit comes with everything needed to complete the cross stitch,with the aida being 11 count instead of her usual 14 so the stitches are a little bigger, The main thing she's picked up is that the image is printed onto the fabric where her usual ones just come with a graphed chart. This image and pattern are printed in bright colours with each different one having a colour/symbol to follow,with the thread colour matching that number on the pattern chart. There are 5 needles,snippers for thread cutting,a thimble and a needle threader, my wife has got her embroidery hoop out as she finds easier to concentrate on the smaller areas at a time.With the aida having the pattern printed on it,it means that it mustn't get wet or the pattern disappears. This set is an ideal gift for anyone who is into their crafts,i feel it's a bit confusing if you were a first time cross stitcher due to the bright colours which can be off putting as you're working. A tip from the wife is to photocopy the pattern so that you can cross the areas off with a pencil as you are going, so you always have a clear view of where you're upto.At £14.99( with a 10% off voucher ) at the time of writing this review, my wife says it is amazing value for money and highly recommends it.
