This can result in harsh or soft shifts and band/clutch failure as well as other driveability concerns. Worn pressure regulator valve spools allowing pressure escape are a common problem in these units. Installing Sonnax main pressure regulator valve 76948-09 restores normal line pressure operation in all ranges. Also includes the Superior "Super Tuff Plate that prevents leaks and cracks that are common on the separator plates on these valve bodies. Exact fit for my 2005 crown victoriaAlthough I had two shipped to me when I ordered one. Also it has a bunch of grease on it for the gaskets to stick i assume but it was in some of the ports and needed cleaned out.
