If you have struggled with a dog who does not cooperate with putting his legs into a harness (the drill for us has been: get one leg in, then he will step out when we're putting the other leg in -back an forth sometimes) then look no further! Why it took me so long to find a harness like this, I don't know, but I do know it is the last brand and style I will try!We had a few of those "step in" harnesses, that we liked, (the one's made from soy fiber purchased from Bark) but, the two rings at the top for the lead to be fastened to was kind of a pain, and, like I said, no sooner than he'd have one leg in, but he'd take that one out when I'd put his other leg in.We've had several more traditional harnesses that go over the head, and then around, after only one leg goes through the leg loop too.A few weeks ago I tried another step-in harness from Amazon (this one) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073W978X4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1I did not like it much as only one side is adjustable, and it is kind of bulky and heavy even though the price is very reasonable. The middle strap that goes under the chest, slides freely, and it has to, due to all adjustments only being on the one side. I didn't return it, but don't much like it.Then, I found THIS harness. Greatest. Harness. Ever! period.All you have to do is pop it over your dog's head, and the strap goes around his chest behind the front legs (like a belt) and clips together on the side. So so so simple! the straps are PADDED too! Fully adjustable. Wonderful harness!

I have an 85 lb dog who is a bit oddly shaped, so it's been hard to find a harness that fits him comfortably. This is perfect. It's easy on, easy off (just one clip!), and highly adjustable. A lot of harnesses have the front part go across the dog's neck, but this one sits a bit lower on the chest. This is wonderful because it doesn't overlap with the collar, and it discourages pulling without choking. I love that the sturdy metal ring that the leash attaches to slides back and forth on the strap, so when my dog zig zags to sniff every tree and greet every shrub, it gives him a bit more lateral freedom without skewing the fit of the harness. Kind of like a zip line. It's nice to not have to stop every few blocks to straighten everything out like with some harnesses I've tried in the past. This harness is sturdy, stylish, and seems comfortable. It feels like a lot of careful thought went into this one. This is, hands down, the best harness I've come across, especially for the price. Just buy it. Your dog will thank you.I paid full price for this product, and was in no way compensated for this review. I just really dig this harness.

This product is wonderful! I purchased a Medium for my 40lb Australian Shepherd and a Large for my 65lb Labrador and both fit very well. I found that they both also had plenty of room either way for the harness to be tightened or loosened (meaning I didn't have to let it out all the way or tighten it down all the way). The purple I thought was more of a shade of pink and would have preferred a darker purple but that is really no big issue to me. The reflective thread in both harnesses are effective without being too bold. The harnesses are very easy to put on both my patient elderly Aussie as we all as my wiggly one year old Lab. The strap that goes across their chests is lightly padded and the product seems sturdily made.I also received a personal message from the co owner of the company to check in on my satisfaction of the product which I appreciated. Overall, a really wonderful harness!

After much looking, trying, and returning I finally found the "perfect" harness for our little dog. She is an escape artist and I was having a hard time finding a harness she couldn't work her way out of. Her neck is much smaller in proportion to her body measurement to order from most size charts. This harness has an adjustable neck and body strap and after several days she still has not managed to work her way out of it.Our dog weighs 15 pounds with a 11 inch neck and 17 inch body measurement, I ordered a small and it fits well. I really wanted to add some pictures of her wearing the harness but she has so much fur it's hard to see the harness. I finally got one of her sleeping and moved the fur away so you could see it. It fits higher up on her body than the other harnesses I've tried but doesn't fit tight enough to cut into her legs or cause discomfort. The harness is actually easier to put on than the step in harnesses I've tried also and I like that there is only one ring to clip a leash onto. DEXDOG is a wonderfully easy company to work with also. I sent a question in their follow-up email and they were very helpful.

So I have a 9 month old very reactive German shepherd pup, beautiful nature but my god she’s hard work to walk, until today when this life saving harness arrived. She walked like a dream I felt like a new dog owner! So pleased, hope she continues to walk so well on it 😁#edit today she was her usual naughty self! Maybe yesterday was just plain good luck! 🤷‍♀️
