Love these and they are not my first...excellent sound quality and tracking of vinyl. I have been a fan of Concorde for 35+ years and they have never let me down. Also they are attractive to boot.

I’ve been a long time user of the lower end ortofon concord needles. I decided to treat myself to these and I wish I did it sooner. The sound quality is so much better than my old Pro S needles I can’t even explain it. I had a slightly difficult time getting these installed in my technic 1210s but eventually got it sorted. Looking forward to years of sonic pleasure out of these.

I've owned a few sets of ortofon cartridges in the past. They've always been a bit finicky as far as making a solid connection with the tone arm, and I'm used to all the usual tinkering to get them coming through in stereo. This new set I ordered was actually defective in one of the cartridges. Tried it on both decks and fidgeted with it for an hour before giving up. The other cartridge worked fine on both decks, no problem, but because this was ordered as a set, I'll have to return the entire thing for a replacement set, I stead of just the one faulty cartridge. I advise ordering each cartridge individually, in case you have a similar situation.
