Maybe the author's strategy is to make the learner work on understanding this language. Book is for beginners, one word usage, a single page for greeting. English word and next to it Arabic word, no translation in Latin, no phonetics, no mentioning that Pashto is read from right to left. In true the Arabic is written from right to left. Is it editor's mistake or made on purpose that they printed it the wrong way. Were I to be a writer I would not have neglected this duty.Categories: numbers, colors, time, days, body, greeting, weather, shopping, health, emergency, restaurant, food, airport, relationship, car, positive feelings, negative feelings, sports, bathroom, animals, house. In animal section there is no cat, the most popular animal in every corner of the world.I didn't personally count if there are 1,000 words, like total 70 pages. Cover says phrases, which is not true.When I was decoding the book frustration filled me because I was a zero in Pashto. Internet helped to figure it out. The book with all its mistakes should not make you put it down.Someone who is inspired will continue to try, as did I.

Useless. When you write a book for someone to learn Urdu, you need to know your audience. If you are an English speaker wanting to learn Urdu, you need something in English with full pronunciation details as a starting point. My first language is Urdu and got this book for my wife whose first language is English, and even I couldn't understand this book.

This only gets 1 star because that's as low as the app will allow. They forgot to include the amharic, I'm not joking! Never seen anything like it
