In simple words, this is the worst phone I ever bought in my life. (Please don't buy this phone if you don't want to end up with a lot of headaches and frustration like me.)The first piece I received had a battery flaw (quick battery draining problem; it took 2 hours to charge just 10% but, drain the same amount within a 10-15 minute call); hence, I asked for the replacement of the model (sadly, Amezon doesn't provide a return option for the first one, I believe they are aware of the quality of this phone). After 2nd bad replacement model they finally gave me option to return the phone. Thank god!!!Another annoying thing is that we can't use the JIO phone recharge plans (cheap ones) on this phone. While making calls with the jio phone recharge option, it says you have to recharge your phone with smartphone plan to make calls. (I should have known about this, so I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.)Now, after using it for 10 days, we noticed that it gets frozen randomly anytime, and we need to restart it to make it work again (when it's hung, we even do not receive incoming calls). This happens at least 3–4 times a day. I'm not sure what quality of firmware is used in it.I even updated the firmware, thinking that it might start working well, but, still no luck.some more cons:1) Can't do whatsapp calling or video calling2) I even feel that using the WhatsApp app on such a phone for chatting is also a bad idea (it takes so much time to type a simple message using the keypad).3) For the price of 2600, it's even not up to the mark of a simple feature phone.4) The phone's UI is also very difficult to understand and navigate for senior citizens.5) Unable to setup the quick dial option with number keys6) It keeps throwing random error messages (mostly related to software).Pros: there are no pros as such; you can use YouTube and other OTT apps like Hotstar, Zee5, etc.Dont have option to give zero stars so I gave 1 to put my honest opinion for others.My humble request to phone makers (Jio) that, please don't fool us by selling such low-quality products at this price range.

The phone is better than the other 4G keypad phones in the Indian market.Renowned multimedia apps you'll find in this phone with:(i) JioTV, (ii) JioCinema, (iii) YouTube, (iv) Disney+Hotstar, (v) Facebook, (vi) Google Map, (vi) KuKu FM, (vii) Wikipedia, (viii) JioSavaanAlthough you can install Zee5 and SonyLIV from the JioStore, but these two apps will not work.Battery backup is not so good.It has Wi-Fi but no hotspot.This phone is eligible for JioPhone recharge plans.The JioSwitch app (for transferring data and contacts between Android and JioPhone) doesn't work on the host (Android) phone. Also, the phone hangs while importing contacts from the Google Account.For importing contacts on this JioPhone, export your contacts from Google Contacts to a CSV file and load it into an SD card.Homescreen Shortcut icons cannot be customised.KaiStore doesn't work.The Telegram app is not available, also, Telegram Web doesn't open.

Review after usage of 1 year and 9 months, 1800 mAh battery stopped working and not available online to buy. So, I'm disappointed with the Jio phone, atleast it should have worked for minimum 3years. Other than phone features were good, a bit of lag sometimes, connectivity is slow and hotspot was missing. Hope they will improve in future. Now I will have to buy another company phone.

Works well battery is good cant use this as hotspot , hangs a bit , screen freezes , whatsapp doesn't work , rest is pretty decent, works well for a parallel phone

Reliance JIO has showcased that money cannot always buy brains.This phone is classic example of how dumb and useless a phone could be designed.This phone lacks every essential features one can expect from a key pad phone. If they would have hired unemployed talent from india , they would have built far better product based on android rather than dumb os.Most of the applications embedded like whats app , facebook , wifi are useless as from a such a tiny screen they cannot be operated , why on earth one will buy a dumb phone to use whats app & gapy ?I am utterly unhappy with this purchase ,unfortunately my return window is closed so I cant return it.

Bought the phone on 9th July for my aunt so that she can use WhatsApp since she can't handle smartphones. However, as the sim got activated Whatsapp app in the phone showed, 'Something went wrong' and didn't open at all. After connecting with Jio, came to know that people who are registered to Jio Prima after 2nd July 2024 cannot use Whatsapp services.Overall the phone looks sturdy and good and if you want to use other services.
