Maxpedition Hard-Use Gear 9006274-SSI Maxpedition Beefy Pocket Organizer OD Green - multi, N/A

I bought this “Maxpedition” Beefy recently to function as a medical equipment storage solution. I’m a medical NHS doctor working in Acute/General medicine and needed something to store kit (stethoscope, patella hammer, pen-torch, bandage scissors, a pair of Spencer Wells, gloves, pens, small multi-tool, tape and other items). Those that work in the NHS also know it’s a pain to find Patella hammer and other various functional scopes (ENT) on a general ward. Had a padded case which was decent but didn’t have the same capability or capacity. Having bought a previous Beefy, which I use to store outdoor/EDC gear, as soon as I saw this version it was worth a try; it’s cheap, had the space and dimensions I needed plus I can wipe it down easily. I don’t think this is a genuine Maxpedition product. If it is then quality control has gone out the window. There aren’t any issues with the zipper, stitching or internal bands, but is not 1000 denier. For my purposes it works great! I’ll probably get a couple to use for my car and other storage options. The real deal? Probably not, but it’s a decent case and I’d order again. Please note that at the time of the review these had come down to about £15. I’ll update if there are any issues. Update 12/5/24 - after using this for at least 18 months, no complaints whatsoever so I’ve upped this to 5 stars from the previous 3 stars!

I've purchased many items from Maxpedition, from backpacks to the EDC pocket organisers, they never disappoint! Built to a high standard and can be used for many things, I used this one for storing my EDC Flashlights, sturdy zips, folds out like a book so you can find everything on the go, highly recommended.

Actually its are cheaper than what normally practice in the market just because are old model this is the 1st model of the beefy, today they are in they 3rd model.... for the price and for the main purpose are very good and budget! 100% original 1st model

I bought this pouch to hold tools that I use when installing and testing computer networks. It is very well constructed and has well thought out external storage. I am surprised at just how much I can get into it and everything is well held and does not fall out when the pouch is opened. Being able to hold so much there is a temptation to over stuff the pouch - I normally have it well stocked but then remove the more niche items if I am travelling by public transport with it. I have knocked off one point as the front mesh pocket is not easy to use if the front section of the pouch is loaded and I am not really a fan of the velcro rectangle for attaching "morale" patches to. Having said that I did find a "Don't Panic" patch which references The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which I bought and has amused a few geeks that have seen it.

I have been pondering for a while to buy this item but was put off a little by the price. I bit the bullet though and I'm very chuffed with my purchase. The pouch is very well made (as you'd expect really from maxpedition) and there is ample space for my requirements. Particularly like the extra 'depth' in this pouch over the other product range. Exactly what i wanted

I've had a lot of MaxP kit over the years; this is nothing like the usual quality. It's genuine MaxP (not a fake or anything), but at the level of the cheaper Chinese knock-offs. The material is thin and rustles when touched, the zipper seems a cheaper type and the size (thickness especially) is overstated. MxP give 2.5" thickness... you might get somthing like that if you pack it so the middle bulges out but I cant get the sides to measure that at all. Overall... if you get it for a tenner, OK, but it isn't worth more just because it is branded Maxpedition.

Bought this bag to handle all of my fire starting needs for hiking. It's well made, has TONS of room on the inside, and ample compartments. Fits nicely in my Osprey Talon backpack along with my other gear.

Auf den ersten Blick, erscheint der Organizer absolut robust und hochwertig. Der Stoff ist verhältnismäßig starr bzw. steif, wenn man den Organizer erhält. Jedoch wird der Stoff etwas flexibler nach einigen Tagen Nutzung. Der Beefy hat meiner Meinung nach die Ideale Größe um ihn in seinem Rucksack zu verstauen, damit Alltägliche wie z.B. Stifte, Kabel, Powerbank und vieles mehr organisiert sind. Auf der Vorderseite befindet eine Klettfläche (ca. 50 x 100mm) um Patches anzubringen, darunter befindet sich ein Netzfach welches mit Klettverschluss geschlossen wird. Das verwendete Netzmaterial ist relativ fest und ungewöhnlich dick, es macht einen Langlebigen und überdurchschnittlich robusten Eindruck. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein Griffschlaufe und drei Reihen Molle Streifen, mit vier Spalten. Der Reißverschluss ist am Anfang etwas schwergängig, aber nach einigen Betätigungen läuft er wie gewohnt. (YKK) An den Reisverschlüssen wurden Schnüre angebracht (evtl. Paracord), welche eine angenehm weiche Haptik haben und die Nutzung des Reißverschlusses vereinfacht. Im Inneren überzeugt der Organizer mit vielen elastischen Schlaufen, um Gegenstände zu fixieren und zu ordnen. Auf der linke Seiten gibt es einen Einschub, eine angenähte Schlaufe und noch ein Band mit einem Kunststoff D-Ring. Auf der Rechten Seite gibt es unten liegend noch ein Fach mit Reißverschluss jedoch ohne die Schnur, welche Außen verwendet wurde. Außerdem zu erwähnen ist, dass das verwendete Außenmaterial Wasserabweisend ist. (Teflon™️ fabric protector) Ich nutze den Beefy Organizer für alltägliche Gegenstände, empfehlen würde ich ihn auch als Verbandstasche oder vorallem zu organisation von Kabeln und Adaptern. Die Farbe Wolf Gray ist schlicht und Zeitlose, jedoch ist er auch in anderen Farben erhältlich. Wer ähnliche wie oben aufgeführte Gegenstände sinnvoll organisieren und aufbewahren möchte, kann sich dieses Produkt ruhig näher ansehen.
