i HAVE BEEN BUYING ORGANIC SOUR DOUGH BREAD WHICH IS VERY DIFFI CULT TO SLICE LET ALONE THIN. With THIS KNIFE I CAN DO IT IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. USUALLY, I SLICE THE ENTIRE LOAF AND WRAP THE INDIVIDUAL SLICES AND PUT IN THE FREEZER. THIS KNIFE IS EASY TO HANDLE, FAST AND EFFICIENT. THE 2 BLADES ONE FOR MEAT ETC. AND ONE FOR BREAD. I have had several electric knives and this is one of the better ones. The blades are sharp and they actually send you an extra set of blades. It's easy to use and easy to take apart and clean. It has a nice long cord and the vibration isn't so bad that it's going to shake your entire hand like some of them do. It cuts meat, fruits and vegetables really well but the true test is fresh bread. It cuts fresh baked bread amazingly well. It's small enough that I feel comfortable handling it. I have small hands. I wear a size small glove, but not so small that my husband doesn't want to use it. It honestly seems to cover both worlds well.

The electric knife is exactly as promised. My first task with it was to slice a tri-tip roast almost paper thin for sandwiches. Easy to use, easy to clean...everything I was looking for at an econimical price

If it was easier to insert blades, I would have no complaints. Don't know if I should return the knife and order a different brand? Have their been similar complaints?
