Amazon Essentials Men's Big and Tall 2-Pack Performance Shorts

I am 6’1” and weigh 360. I never can find shorts that are the correct length. Manufacturers apparently thing you can either be big OR tall not both. Well, not all big people are short. In fact most of the ones I know are tall.I haven’t been able to find simple black nylon shorts that fit well. Most ride because the legs are too small for a big persons legs.On a whim, I tried Amazon. To my surprise these turned out to be the best shorts I’ve have bought in the last 10 years. The fit is excellent. These shorts don’t ride up. They are light weight. The don’t get seem runs. They don’t fade. They hold up to wear. They are the correct length.Unfortunately Amazon doesn’t seem to have my size as of 8/25/21. I ordered 5xl originally. I did so because the sizing is usually ridiculously off on big and tall shorts. These shorts were just right. Luckily I got 6 shorts. Maybe they’ll get themBack in at some point. Maybe they’ll see this…. Maybe.

Let me start by saying I would not buy these again.01. They are huge!I assume they're meant to be worn over one's belly not at the waist, but when you put them over your belly they ride up and the next thing you know they're under your arm pits.02. The legs are weirdly shaped.Somehow the outer leg measurement is super long, but the inseam measurement is super short.So when the shorts finally settle (on where they want to be on your body) the outer leg is below your knee and the inseam draws up to half way up your thigh making it look like you're eating your shorts and we've all seen people who look like that and it just makes them look sloppy and somehow larger (I am sure you know what I am talking about).03. The crotch is super long.To clarify I mean the center seam from the waistband to the center point between the legs.Like several feet long!If you wear the "shorts" at your waist they end up looking more like the pants that Aladdin wears.Again I assume this is because they were designed so the shorts can be worn over your belly and they almost have to be worn that way in order to not be harem pants, but when they are worn over the belly they look even more ill fitting then the other way.There is no happy median with these shorts.04. The fabric is thin.Like I wouldn't want to stand in front of a light source wearing these or else it would leave nothing to the imagination.05. The polyester has a warming effect.Despite being so thin, they are able to retain body heat, so they may make a good base layer addition in the winter and for that reason I wish they made pants out of this same material, but in the summer it just feels a little hotter.I have polyester shorts that are much thicker but aren't nearly as warm to wear as these have been.Bottom line:They were cheap, that's why I bought them, but I have learned my lesson.I would never wear these in public.They are fine for around the house, but I would never wear these outside the house.

Oh, where have you been all my life! I have searched high and low for shorts that feel as well as these do. I had found a set a few years back that were great as well, but the company that made the vaporized into thin air and I could never find a suitable replacement. That day has come to and end! These are absolutely the best shorts I have purchased in a long time, at any price. Super comfortable, extra roomy. Super soft and breathable. Extra long, past the knees. I highly recommend these!

I really like the sizing and feel of the material in these shorts. If anything they may be just a bit large, but with the drawstring they are great. My only issue is they seem very thin, and while I live in the south and mostly am home as a retired person, their thinness concerns me.

For the big fellas out there lemme tell you this, at 6'5 and 360lbs I'm no small guy and this review was based for me to tell you just try it.The price was right, not too cheap but not too expensive to scare me. The fitment is a little big but nothing the draw string couldn't handle. Mabe order a 3xl if you think a 4xl might be a little to much. As far material goes, they are full polyester and very lightweight for how big they look on me.Been wearing them on my off days and to go to the gym, no issues yet.

If your giving something a bad rating because it's "Too big/long" then your not a True Big and Tall. being a big guy since I was 13 definitely very rare to have something that's too big. They definitely run a big, iv got a couple things from Amazon essentials and it seems like things run 1-2 sizes to big. I normally would go one size up when I buy shorts so I just got the size I normally wear, these I probably could of gone down a size. The waist band is not elastic, u will have to use the draw string. If u like wearing tight 1970's NBA shorts these our not for you. These our more 1990's NBA length. I'm 6'5" these shorts fall 3" from your shin.

I may have tried to get shorts that had room to grow. I have a small giant son. Do not go up a size on these. Also why is the crotch almost down to his knee. I wouldn’t order these in every color. The fit? No.

Got these for my husband. He likes the fit as they are on the larger size.

To find big and tall shorts for this price, is amazing. These are lightweight and going to be excellent for the summer.I found that they do run big. Bought a 5X, my normal size, and i could have done with a 4X but I like my shorts a bit baggy so I’m happy.The only con is that I am a bit disappointed with the string to tie the shorts at the top, it’s not a very heavy material so I feel like it may break eventually but we will see!All and all, great shorts, great value, just maybe order a size down to what you usually wear.

To long in the legs

I ordered this for my husband, and he absolutely loves them. They fit him perfectly, and they are very comfortable and good quality. I will definitely buy them again.

These are shorts, the pant legs are to long. I need to hem them up.
