Nothing Like This Mini - Plug-in Mount - Google Home Mini Accessory (Charcoal)

I bought this plug mount to reduce the cord clutter on my table, and it does the trick. The grey plastic matches the Google Home mini and doesn't distort the sound in any way. I was a little disappointed that the portion that holds the speaker seems to sit a little away from the wall, but it's not enough to be a problem.There are two things I don't love about this product, that I didn't think about when I bought it:1. You have to wrap the cord around the top portion pretty tightly. This is somewhat obvious in the pictures, but what I didn't think about was that it will probably permanently bend the cord, and possibly put strain on it. So far, so good, but I think over time it may cause the cord to wear out - and it will be tricky to straighten if I ever want to move the Mini to a flat surface again.2. The Mini has to sit in a certain position in the mount, which means that when you wrap the cord you have to make sure that the part of the cord that plugs into the Mini winds to the bottom. If the end of the cord winds up on the top of the mount, you'll have to rewind the cord or pull it tightly, because there isn't a way to sit the Mini in that direction without the plug sticking straight out. That was kind of a pain, but I got it to work. The instructions should have offered tips on that, though.

These things are very nice. They hold your Home Mini up with no chords dangling and looking messy. I have bought more than one of these for the Google Minis in my home. The first one arrived perfect - it was easy to install, held my Google Mini securely and there were no issues.About a month or so later I ordered another one, and I think there must have been a defective bath of these at that time (February 2019), because it arrived with the magnet disk totally detached and rattling around inside the box. I contacted the seller and they were very kind and helpful though, and immediately sent me out another one. Unfortunately this replacement one had the same issue, with the magnet having fallen off completely. The seller was super responsive though and rushed me out a replacement again, and this time it was all good.I am not taking off stars for the defective ones, as the seller was really awesome, stood by their product, and made things right. Six months or so later and they are still going strong. All in all I really love these things, they look great and are easy to use, and I recommend!

It does the job. My only complaints are the magnet that holds the mini to the bracket is weak. I have one sideways on my work bench and it it wasn't for the table top, the mini would fall out. Mounted vertically it's fine because it can rest on the plug cover and the magnet doesn't have to do as much work. Finally, if you have it on a wall where you walk parallel to the wall closely, like a hallway, or you sit over it like under a breakfast bar, you can see the power cord wrapped around the mount. Picky, I know but there are other products where it is better covered. Those two irritants asside it is a decent mounting option.

This does the job of course and it looks pretty good. I could not coil the cable up as well as they showed in the pictures so it doesn't look as neat but that might just be me. They can only hang up or down which is well enough and doesn't put too much strain on the socket. I would have liked them to hang on the left or right as well but that might create too much pressure on the socket or apparatus. The magnet that holds the mini is very good and strong too. You can hold it upside down and it won't fall and even if you live in an area with tremors or light earthquakes you won't worry about it falling out. If you live in a place wracked with dangerous earthquakes I would recommend getting some 3M double-sided tape instead to hold it. I think this is one of the best mini holders out there. Great product!

Overall I’m happy with this purchase. It says charcoal but it just looks black to me. I don’t mind it though. I do feel like the pieces on the back that you wrap the cord around could be sturdier but I haven’t had an issue with it yet. It comes with a magnet built in which I did have to super glue back on but it’s fine now. It also came with an adhesive strip for extra support but I didn’t need to use it.

Nothing wrong with the build quality, per say. But there are a few things worth noting that would keep me from buying another one.It's a little difficult to wrap up the cable as neatly as the picture shows it. And the Google Home is a lot of weight for the plug, so it doesn't sit flush to the wall like the picture would imply. It leans forward away from the wall with the individual plug prongs attempting to keep it leaned back to the wall.Would be better if there was a small hole in the magnet that offered a place to easily put a screw through to secure the bracket itself to the wall.On the plus side, the magnet works well for holding the Google Home up and it does offer a better solution for me than just leaving it sitting on my counter.

I hated having the long wires dangling near my google home.This is the perfect device that makes wiring management easy and hidden.Pros- Set up is easy.- Wires are hidden wellCons- I wish this could rotate.- I feel the magnet could be a little stronger. But its not like it falls off the mount.Ultimately this works veyr well and I've since purchased more for my home and highly recommend it.

Unlike some others, the magnet is holding perfectly. It could be stronger and depending out the outlet you have it installed in, the top heavy nature of it tends to make the power adapter pull away a little bit. For me, it hasn't been and issue. Love that I am able to still use the other outlet while this is plugged in. I do wish it came in white though...I think it would look cleaner.
