Excellent. Good quality, sturdy. Kept my new kitten out of the other rooms and away from the other cats until she got vaccinated and tested. But, she was able to jump it and get out, she is a jumper.

Effectively keeps my cat in cat jail and has fit in every doorway I've needed it in. Very adjustable sizing.While it is a tad pricey, the quality of the gate is worth it. After about a year of use, the latch is still strong and easy to use, while still looking clean.

I needed a way to keep the cats out of my bedroom and still get air flow for hot summers. My cats were smart and got past my other purchase that kept the door ajar just enough to keep them out. They pushed so hard it opened. So this was perfect and will definitely keep them out.Installation was a bit tricky. My door opening is 36”. According to the instructions I would need three bars added on one side and one bar on the other. Well I only needed the three. The nuts and metal bars were confusing as to what they were for but I didn’t need the nuts. There was just enough room for the bolt with the turning knob and door jam protector. Had very little room to tighten but I got it done.Feels very sturdy and was easy to open and close its door. I also figured out what the metal bar was for. It goes on top to hold the additional bars to the middle gate section.It hasn’t been tested on the cats yet but I believe this will work just fine.

Ordered this gate as a cat barrier to have a line of understanding between kitchen and the rest of house. Of course they can jump up or over the 51" height but hey so far they would rather not.The gate was easy to install and all the parts were provided. Actually MORE parts than in the instructions... these mystery parts don't appear in the written text nor in the photos. We'll keep them around but not entirely sure of their purpose and whether they would make the gate even better!We've had to make some adjustments to our habits with opening & closing the gate. The open action is pull back on top plastic latch piece then LIFT the gate to clear the bottom latch. With the 51" height it's a bit awkward of a lift action so we may be looking to see if we can engineer that bottom latch clearing to be slightly easier. We checked left-right distance-tension to see if that made any improvements but we think the secure closure is a feature not a mistake.We definitely recommend this gate and the seller and we would buy again both product & from source.

The media could not be loaded. I foster cats and have a room to quarantine them in when they arrive at my home. I need a tall gate that keeps them in the room and keeps my cats out. After a few days, I like to open the door so they can see and hear and smell what’s going on in the house. This gate works great for that! The slats are small enough that even skinny cats can’t squirm through them. And it’s tall enough that the cats I’ve fostered have not been able to climb it or jump over it.It installs easily and quickly. No tools are necessary for installing this because it’s pressure mounted. My door width is narrow at 30 inches and this fits perfectly! I have not had to use the extensions that come with it, so I don’t know much about them. But I have them stashed away to use in the future if necessary.This is also fairly lightweight (compared to other brands) yet sturdy. It is very easy to open, just lift the door up slightly and swing it open. The door is either open at a 90 degree angle or it is closed. There is no in between. It will swing shut automatically if it’s not locked open. The door can either open in or out. This is a great value and works perfectly for my needs!

My cat fit through the bars like it was nothing after it took me forever to get it installed and spent over 100 dollars??? wtf do not buy this if you own a cat it’s a giant waste of money i’m so mad I bought this

We've had the gate for 2-3 weeks now and couldn't be more satisfied. It's sturdy, easy to open and close, and easy to install.We installed this gate in a regular bedroom door frame to keep our new kitten enclosed in a spare bedroom while we are introducing her to our older cat over the next weeks/months (these things take time!). The gate fits perfectly in the door jamb (exactly 30 inches, so we didn't need the included extensions) and allows us to close the regular bedroom door when needed with the gate in place. It's also tall enough to not be jumpable, but YMMV. We have it installed in such a way that there are no stepping stones to get over it on either side, and neither cat seems interested in trying to leap it in a single bound, or at all.Installation was relatively easy, once we realized that we needed to tighten the zip ties a bit to keep the gate fastened shut at the top and bottom in order to make it narrow enough to fit into the door frame. After that, the gate fit easily between the side jambs and it was easy to adjust the side bumpers to secure it in place.
