Tastes amazing

This instant jasmine green tea is decent. It comes in a freeze-dried powder form, packaged in singe-serving plastic pods that are convenient and easy to make on the go. Simply pop the lid off a pod and peel off the foil seal on the top. Then mix the powder in 10-13.5 fl. oz. of water and stir well. It has a decent green tea flavor with a light jasmine aroma, albeit a little bitter.These pods come packaged in a retail plastic box, printed in Chinese but has a English label affixed to the back. Mine has a manufacture date date of 12/2023 and a 12-month shelf life. Originated in Lu'an, China. Overall, a decent jasmine green tea. I like the little plastic pods which has a premium look to them. Easy to make on the go. A little bitter and jasmine scent is a bit light though. Product of China.

So it was with great anticipation that I stirred up a hot cup of this tea. The measurements are in ml instead of ounces, but basically this tea is formulated for 1 1/4 cups/10 oz/300 ml water. While the instructions (in Chinese) say that it is good for either hot or cold liquids, the Jasmine flavor tasted bitter with both.I was disappointed in this tea. From the packaging it looks like an authentic Chinese product and I was excited to taste it. Each tea pod is a small hard plastic shell that looks a bit like an acorn. Pop the lid off and peel back the seal to reveal the freeze dried tea. I like that it is small and very portable. The tea pod design (while made from plastic) is innovative and sturdy. However, the tea itself did not work for me.
