I’m no expert, so I can’t comment on the material content. I suspect the pillowcases are a silk blend, but I like the feel and they don’t pull my hair. This is my second purchase. I have had the first pillowcase for about a year. It’s still in fine shape. The material has not pilled. I haven’t noticed any smell and I’m usually pretty sensitive to odors.You do need to treat this material with care. (This is true for a lot of delicate materials.)1. If you have a top loader machine, be careful. They are much rougher on clothing. In that case, use the delicate cycle.2. Zip the pillowcase close before washing to avoid snagging the material. Make sure other items in the wash are similarly zippered close.3. Don’t wash it in hot water.4. Only line dry.If you wear a lot of oils on your face or hair, this type of material might stain. Since the pillowcase needs delicate handling, you might not remove the stains very easily.I can’t comment on color transfer since I only purchased a white and pale blue set. I would suggest if you buy dark colors that you wash them a couple of times before you use them, preferably with a color catcher in the laundry load to remove any dye left on the surface.For the money, I’m quite happy with my purchase. YMMV.

Fits the pillow well and looks nice and smooth. Soft and pretty good quality. Seem a bit thin but are holding up so far.

I use these for my curly hair and I have seen a noticeable difference in bedhead in the mornings. They fit great on my Queen-sized pillows (despite me ordering standard) and lock in with a zipper which is a bonus. They also stay cool so helps when nights get hot!

I purchased the king size white silk pillowcases and they are SERIOUSLY the best!! They are quality sewn, with a small zipper on one end. I wasn't sure if I would be able to tell a difference between the silk and a quality thread pillowcase. Boy was I wrong. I wish I had bought these sooner. They are silky soft, smooth and definitely worth purchasing.

I bought the set of 2 in orange to fit 2 different types of pillows: the standard size “Bucky” and the 4” deep (Cooling) Cube. They have a zippered opening which is perfect for both pillows if you want a Satin case!The fit was snug on both pillows in terms of the opening. Strongly recommend following the washing instructions to the letter for this reason. You won’t want them to shrink! I haven’t laundered them yet, so I can’t speak to following the directions for washing them “to the letter” of the instructions . Smooth on my skin, don’t fall off like other open ended satin pillow cases, and if they make them in King size and my favorite color (Orange) I will buy some for my larger pillows. Lovely for my application! Be sure you know the dimensions of the pillows you want to cover because the cases fit snug on my standard pillows! 💜💜💜

I love them. They are smooth and silky, well made sewn and good quality. I'd buy them again except not with my cats. My cat walked over one of the pillows and the tips of her claws snagged the threads and ruined the case. There is not way to fix it. Oh well. They still feel good and the color is still beautiful.

Estupendo y confortable

The description of the product is misleading and I am disappointed at Amazon that is allowing this.Thee pillowcases are not put silk as advertised to be. I have multiple silk garments and items as I love the material and this feels nothing like any of them. At the best case scenario is a mix with some synthetic material, if not pure synthetic. Disappointed as the colour is very beautiful. I will be returning them as I know I won't be reaching for them knowing they are not what I was told I was buying.
