We bought this for our 8 and 7 year old kids because we were going on a long plane trip. It worked great even on LATAM airlines, that gives VERY little leg room. You can inflate it in about two minutes. And it has 3 levels, so we inflated 1 or 2 leves when they were sitting, and inflated the 3rd level when they wanted to sleep. When fully inflated its ass tall as the chair, so its like an extension of it, which worked great for them to sleep. Its very easy to deflate.We tried using it on a two-hour car trip the other day and it also worked great. My kids use booster seats and complain their feet get tired from having them hanging on long trips. This way their feet weren't hanging and rested on top of something soft.

Great idea but it didn't stay inflated even for one single trip.

I couldn't really understand how this would be used on an airplane (as described) but it didn't matter. I took a chance on it as an inexpensive and portable footstool to use temporarily under my desk at work while I heal a broken ankle bone. It works beautifully for my intended purpose and has been invaluable in keeping my foot elevated and comfortable. I could also see it being used as a hassock on camping trips but on an airplane, still don't see how it would work in a cramped space like that. I was also skeptical about the quick inflation but it was in fact quick and the simple valve is kind of ingenious--it holds the air in as you catch a breath.

This item is fairly easy to inflate. Does take a lot of breath so pace yourself cause you can get light headed. My 3 year old was able touse it to sleep on during our overseas trip. The cap would not stay on for us and it kept slowly deflating. Thankfully, she was so exhausted she stayed asleep while we would reinflate it. It does fold up nicely and is compact. It is very easy to deflate.

This product loses air so quickly and is not sturdy at all. WITHOUT even touching the darn thing, I blew it up as an experiment as I did not want any surprises during a 14-15 hour flight. I was happy at first after I blew it up. It was relatively easy to blow up (although j was out of breath!). I played with it for 2-3 minutes and put it in the corner for an hour. I came back and some air escaped as it was no longer full and bouncy. How did this happen when NO ONE touched it and it has only been an hour?! Imagine if I had to find out during my flight!!!!I am so so disappointed because I was hoping this would be the answer I was praying for! It’s definitely not it and I plan on returning and looking for a different product.

It seems like a nice footrest, hope it will be durable and up for the task, might take a while to inflate it but you don’t have to pump it all the way.Hope it will fit under the seat of a tour bus as I’m in for a 12-hour bus ride.

This was a lifesaver on my flight to Italy. If you can economy plus, you’ll have more leg room to maneuver. It was so nice to be able to fill this halfway to get a different level of support for my feet. The material on the outside isn’t slippery so you won’t really slide off. I had a normal eceonmy seat on the way home and although it fit, it was a super tight squeeze and it was hard to get in and out of my seat. If you are regular economy, I’d just blow it up half way. I also bought a foot hammock that I used half the flight.

For a child to be stuck in a car seat for long trips with their legs dangling in the air, it leads to the family hearing a lot of whining and not looking forward to trips. This inflatable foot rest is perfect! Its helped my daughter actually enjoy a trip. She could rest her legs and we didn't hear whining the whole time. She was comfortable and her legs could actually rest. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who travels as much as we do to invest in it for your child. You arrive to your destination with a much more relaxed happy kid, at least we did!!
