It's hard to imagine that a thin piece of plastic in the shape of a cone can work so well for removing ice from windows but it does a great job. The little spiked end is removeable and honestly doesn't really attach at all, it basically just sits on the end of the cone and falls right off if it's not held on. From my personal experience these work best in a circular motion, you need the circles to be fairly small as well Basically you grind or chip away at the edge of the ice and depending on what kind of ice it is it may just take off small pieces or bigger ones. It may not remove anything and just dent the edge of the cone so keep that in mind.

The media could not be loaded.  Cheap piece of plastic the top comes off I’m not sure what is up with that and if there’s a reason it comes off. . I haven’t used it yet. But I feel like a normal scraper would benefit much better.

The little end cap( supposed to be the handle) won't even stay on

This would not stand a chance with thick ice on car windows. The plastic cone is flimsy. This should be redesigned with thicker plastic. Also, I don't like that the prickly end detaches. It came off while I was trying to use it. I get that they wanted to make it have another use - as a funnel - but this is ridiculous.
