✨ Elevate your magic game with invisible finesse 🖤
The Rosojodg Black Durable 120cm Invisible Thread Levitation Magic Trick Kit is a professional-grade magic accessory featuring a 120cm black invisible thread and a compact retractor mechanism. Designed for both stage and street magicians, it offers optimal invisibility and portability for seamless levitation illusions. While ideal for beginners to explore levitation magic, the thread’s tension requires careful handling to avoid breakage, and the reel is not user-serviceable once the thread snaps.

Thread reels have been around for several decades. When I was younger and more into magic, I had a reel that cost me $50, but I unfortunately lost it at some point. When I saw this, I thought it would be fun to fool my kids with. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work well. The reel is quite small, which is nice. The clip is used to attach the reel inside your jacket, or sleeve, or anywhere else that is convenient. Another reviewer posted a photo of the clip detached from the reel - mine is attached, which is how I believe it is supposed to be. The wax ball at the end of the thread is perfect - sticky enough to adhere to most surfaces, but not so sticky is leaves a residue. The reel functions well, but the tension is a bit too much. My old reel would allow me to easy pull thread out without fear of breaking it, but this reel is just too strong. Without taking serious care (which was also needed to some extent with my old reel), the thread will easily break. Also, by being too tense, it's difficult to manipulate the thread. With my old reel, I could put the wax ball under the edge of a table or wherever else and then move parts of the thread to affect the levitation illusion. That's much less possible because of how tense the thread is. One of the other problems with this reel is that there is no way to open it and fix the thread if it breaks. It's reusable until the thread breaks, and I think that'll likely happen soon. My old reel could be repaired if the thread broke....it wasn't easy, but it could be done. All these complaints aside, this reel is quite cheap and so I think it's fine for beginners, just to get a feel for what a reel is like. For those that are more serious about magic, I'd recommend investing in a better quality reel.

This is a pretty straight forward trick, but I would have preferred a little bit of information about how this was set up and how to fix/adjust if necessary. Unfortunately, I broke the string in the first five minutes of messing around with it, and now I have to figure out how to re-string/fix it.
