I've been Wiccan for 30 years but I like to check out beginner stuff so I can recommend the good when asked and a refresher on the basics is a good idea now and then. So, first the bad. You do not get much for your money, it's a work booklet, worth maybe $5 once you realize it's mostly blank space for you to write in, maybe worth less. The dark paper and light ink make it hard to read, so don't expect to use it by candle light. Now for the good. It is a nice idea, they do a good job of getting you started and ask thought provoking questions that a newby might like to meditate on. There is ample space to jot down thoughts, and I know that I was very happy I had notes to look back on after I had been practicing a few years. I'd really like to see a more comprehensive workbook meant to last a year and a day for about the same price. If you have money to burn, get this book, but if you are on a budget, there's a lot better things a beginner Wiccan can spend the money on.

It's good for people who are just beginning, but the information inside can easily be found online. It's followed by several questions that, again, are only really useful if you're completely new to the Craft. There's not much content to this workbook, just a basic outline of things followed by a few guided questions and then some blank pages for scribbling down ideas for your BoS, I assume. My only real gripe is that it's definitely not worth almost 20 dollars.

Wayyyyy too expensive for what you get :[ I wanted details about the moon phases, sabbats, etc but it literally says, "the Earth and Moon seem complicated, but it's easy to find a grade-school science explanation on the internet." I didn't pay $20 to be told to Google information that I wanted to read in this book. Also, the back of the book says, "no need to spend a year reading ... to start your actual practice!" and that, "This workbook gives you the information you need" but there's hardly any information! Maybe a page per subject and then three pages of blank writing space.And no pictures, I was looking for examples of imagery to put in my real BOS, but the only imagery in the whole thing is the logo.The writing prompts are very basic, if you only have two brain cells to rub together, this is the workbook for you. It very much feels like a workbook on how to get to know they way you think, rather than to plan become familiar with making your own BOS.Only good thing about this book is that it's good for super creative people. There is the ample room for creativity, you won't get anything out of this book if you aren't willing to write the other half of it for them.

I was a little disappointed, while the information was nicely presented this item was extremely expensive for what i got, in my opinon.

Full of great basic information followed by questions to help you define your practice. The perfect beginner workbook.

Cool but should have more to for the value

This is for basically planning your practice. I have no use for it at all because im not a begginner but my friend however loves it.!

Love this book it helped me get started
