Timer makes all the difference. Do not bother without a timer. I dozed off using another without a timer. The size fits my male head a bit small. Another brand tried used a velcro strap, which is superior to the elastic strap on this one. The elastic after 1 month is stretching badly and will need replacement soon if I continue to use it daily.I still prefer this unit and if I had to buy another, this is the one I would buy. For power, I use my laptop or a USB portable battery like the type to charge your cell phone.If the size was a bit wider and the strap was more heavy duty, it would be five stars.

I get chalazion really bad. in both eyes, in the top or the bottom lid. The Antibiotics the dr gave didn't seem to touch them. They are on a slow rotation of coming and going so surgery would be a never-ending thing. I have very dry eyes. This is in addition to or perhaps is causing the chalazion. I bought this because regular hot pack treatments were such a drag. I wanted something i could put on before i go to sleep and forget about it. this thing works great. It provides constant heat up to 30 minutes at a time (better than any hot pack). I always spray the mask a few time to create a sauna type environment. Most of the time a fall asleep before the 30 is up but if I'm still awake I'll reset it for another 30. Now i wake up with comfortable moist eyes and most of the time I have a gob of eye buggers around my tear duct were some of the blockage has come free. I still have Chalazion, but this has been the best treatment by far. I'm been using it for about 5 months. I recommend it to friends all the time.

This is the model you want for dry eye therapy. Gets hot enough .. has 5 levels of heat and a timer .. I take the heating pad out of the thick covering and just use a damp tissue on my eyes and then hold this on for 10-15 minutes [highest heat setting]. I have tried every eye drop and gel .. nothing works as good as moist heat to stimulate your own oil glands and solve the problem. Good luck to all who have this condition .. it can be reversed.

I use this twice a day to help with dry eyes. This particular mask gets warmer than the others I have tried to help with dry eyes, By itself, it doesn't get quite warm enough and It doesn't fit my eyes snuggly, so I use this mask and then put a second eye mask on top of this one. The second mask makes this one conform to my eyes much better and maintains the heat a lot longer. The second mask is the type that is filled with little beads and is supposed to be heated in the microwave. I use it the bead mask without heating and just place it on top of the USB mask to help the mask conform to my eyes and hold in the heat. I found that using this heated mask in conjunction with the second mask gives me the heat I need for the length of time and it is a whole lot easier since I can just turn it on and turn out the light. I hated having to get up and microwave the other type of mask.

I got this because my eye doctor recommended I use a microwave eye pack twice a day for 20 minutes to help with dry eye. I hated the microwave eye pack and looked for an alternative. This plug in version is so simple to use, actually allows the proper amount of heat to stay on my eye area for the entire therapy time. I keep it by my bed and lay with it on in the morning and night. It’s soft, comfortable and soothing. The dry eye relief is amazing. I still use my eye drops, but the heat pad for my eyes is one of my favorite things now.

The eye mask is meant to be used for dry eye condition.I know it really helps to soothe mine.The heat really helps to loosen up and unstick the eye lashes.When water is added to the outside of the mask creates just the right amount of steam.

I received my mask earlier in the week. My dry eye syndrome had gotten so bad it was difficult to see. For the first time in months my eyes do NOT feel like they have grit or sand in them!!! I have used the mask 2x daily for 30 minutes. It is very comfortable and turns off after treatment. My only suggestions are the cord needs a little more length and the spray bottle for water is nice but could be larger. Great Product!!Suggestion for those people suffering with dry eyes use baby shampoo on a warm bath cloth to wash your eyelids and make sure to clean the area at the base of eyelashes. The oil ducts that keep eyes moist are in that area.

My job is about heavy computer use, watching monitor every day more than 8 hours. Occasionally I found a No 1 sell heated mask on Amazon Japan, and then searched it on Amazon US, found the same model! I'm very happy using it before I go to sleep. I ordered the second pair for my friend. The side of the eyes has very soft fleece, super comfortable. The purple one has the lavender scent, so I guess the grey version is scent free. Highly recommend for the people who use computer and phone heavily.Tip: Use water spray bottle and spray little water on the inner (eyes) side, you will enjoy perfect moist eyes SPA.

Easy to use. Multiple heat and time options. Relieves dry eyes really well.
