Between Us: A 52-Week Keepsake Devotional for Moms and Daughters

This devotional was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to set aside a special time for my daughter and I to pray, discuss, and reflect. This books allows for both of us to be engaged, read, pray, and answer questions. I love how the questions are geared toward the both of us. My daughter looks forward to each day we progress through the book.

Love this devotional book!My 9 year old and I have had some great conversations that have stemmed from our readings in this and we have both enjoyed adding our thoughts to it as we go through it.Quality of this book is better than the pictures. My guess is that my daughter will be able to keep this and cherish it for a long time to come.

This is such a great value! The book is large, has a stitched-in ribbon bookmark and beautiful colors, fun fonts and illustrations. My daughter and I are going through it together. She’s a mature 8-year old and we are tailoring some of the discussions with age-appropriate examples. We are pairing it with her children’s bible (NIRV) to read the actual bible story referenced each week, rather than just the one chosen verse. I’m super impressed with this book and she and I both look forward to our daily devo time together. Highly recommended!

Just recieved this a few wks ago. My daughter is 10 & she LOVES this devotional... it's laid out as a weekly devotional but she doesn't want to wait a whole week to do another one so I think we're going to start doing them daily. We take turns reading paragraphs etc...There are questions like "Ask your mom...." "Questions for your mom to ask you...."and she fills in my answer and vice versa.... (that's just our preference).There are also questions regarding the story/scripture as well...**On the way out the door this morning as we were heading to the school bus she said...."I can't wait until Monday..."-Why?"Because we get to do our devotional again."💟

This was an excellent journal, bought for my ten year old daughter. We very much enjoy the time together and have been doing it more than once a week. I bought several for all of my girls and this was by far my favorite. Full of good Bible truths and conversation starters. I think it would be ok for a younger girl as well.

This is a beautiful book, rich information and very timely for me and my 11-year-old daughter. We are using it as a cornerstone for 1:1 time each week, just us girls to talk and connect. Being a mom is overwhelming (at least for me!) and with 3 kids, a full-time career and a home to maintain not to mention 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a husband- thinking of meaningful ways to connect with my daughter AND share God's word is also overwhelming. I felt peace holding this hardcover book in my hands. I feel like this book is something I can do, it's structured enough that I don't have to think of everything, but free flowing enough that I can still be myself.

This book is amazing and so far! It's constructed well, sturdy. The stories and tasks are easy to follow along and super engaging! The questions are thought provoking and easy to discuss our feelings and go over. My daughter who is 9 can't wait to get to the next week.

Beautiful weekly devotional. I think it's perfect for tweens or teens who don't enjoy reading (if your daughter is a strong reader you may want one more advanced). My 11 year old & I started this immediately. Each week the devotion has a verse, examples and asks questions for your daughter to observe & answer. There is also places for the mother & daughter to observe & answer. Great way to bring you & your daughter closer to each other & closer to Christ.
