Does not work. This unit was to replace a 10 year old Honeywell wireless pir that worked great all around the external garden activating the garden flood lights. This was an ideal replacement on paper, but does not live up to description. Don't waste your time or money.

I’ve mounted this above my front door bell and linked it to my HomeWizard hub, the idea being that it detects the motion of someone ringing the bell and notifies me via my phone (and/or watch) if I’m out of earshot. This isn’t the advertised use of the device, so some of the criticism that follows might be unwarranted in more common circumstances. Anyway, the combination works as it should some of the time. I would guess it notifies me on around 70% of the occasions it should. Now and then, it gets overexcited and tells me about cars passing in the street. I haven’t been able to improve its accuracy by masking parts of the sensor or directing it more accurately. I have discussed this with Trust’s technical support people who have been very prompt in responding to my queries. Unfortunately, they’re based in the Netherlands and, while their English is a good deal better than my Dutch, it isn’t really up to a detailed technical description. So I still haven’t solved the problem. I’m a little loath to complain about people who are making an honest attempt to make themselves understood in a second language but if you’re going to sell in a country, you should provide appropriate support. Hence the loss of a star. UPDATE: I've managed to solve the problem above, with a good deal of trial and error, by re-siting the sensor.It now works perfectly. I still can't bring myself to give it the extra star, though, because there should be better control options.

Purchased this to work with an ACM-1000 Built-In Switch for Wireless Switching of Lights. I had outside lights installed that were working all together on a day night sensor. Decided that the side path lights would be better on a motion sensor but no wire in place for PIR and did not want wires down the side of the building. Lights were powered from inside the garage, so easy to install the ACM-1000 in side the garage in a junction box. Pairing was simple setting the PIR simple. It does the Job. Why 4 stars, Don't feel the movement in the bracket is as good as it could be, difficult to set it on a side wall next to a path and point it down the path at 90 degrees to the wall, fine for working off a back or front wall and pointing into the garden or down a drive way. I would say the installation of the ACM-1000 is not for a complete novice but if you have basic wiring experience you should be fine. This has only been installed for a day.

Avec l'arrivée de l'hiver et des jours courts, je voulais un produit facile à installer, sans tirage de câbles et efficace. Et bien ce détecteur remplit toutes les fonctions. Installé à environ 10 mètres du récepteur, tout est nickel ! Aucun problème de liaison, appairage facile avec le récepteur, les piles tiennent bon malgré le froid. La sensibilité est parfaite (j'avais un peu peur avec les 3 niveaux pré-réglés mais en fait c'est très bien adapté. La sensibilité est bonne et détecte même mes chats qui entrent et sortent). Quant à la portée de détection, elle va jusqu'à 12 mètres environ. Un produit facile à installer que je recommande. N'oubliez pas le récepteur ACM-1000 qui est le complément idéal !

Petite documentation avec,qui précise comment appairer le detecteur à un module ,de la marque trust.Mes modules étant CHACON ,j'ai un peu tourné en rond 4 - 5 minutes...et sans trop savoir comment ,cela ,a fonctionné.Depuis ,fonctionne parfaitement.J'en avais commandé 2 à l'origine pour couvrir 2 zones différentes...J'envisage d'en reprendre pour améliorer la couverture lumineuse et les déclenchements de lumière autour de la maison....
