The ideal Adirondack chair
As an amateur woodworker, I very much appreciate a design that has been optimized as this one has. The chair is very comfortable, attractive and easily assembled (so easy, you really don't need any instructions). All board corners are eased, the use of Cypress is perfect for this application and the all-stainless steel fasteners show someone is thinking in the long term. Nicely done.Excessive snow can delay one's comfort however.UPDATE: 11/6/18 It was distressing to see one Cypress armrest snap from rot under normal use in late 2018 - after only four years! It should have lasted twice this long.

Pretty, but......
These are pretty chairs (we ordered two) and comfortable. However, the bar supporting the seat was broken due to the poor packaging and we had to jerry-rig it with screws and wood glue to get the chair together and usable. As if that weren't bad enough, the instructions for actually assembling the chair were laughably inadequate. We figured it out, but it wasn't the instructions fault that we did!
