Raku is the name of an ancient japonese technique of firing. It was originally used in the tea's ceremony, very traditional in Japan. In the Raku process, interfer natural elements such as oxigen and very specially the fire. That's the main reason why the result is always unpredictable and it always gives unique pieces impossible to repeat. This item is suitable for dishwashers, ovens and microwaves since it is baked to more than 900 centigrade and is made of refractory clay much more resistant than common mud.
