Was quoted $5,000 for a laminate floor and installation. Bought this kit and a Laminate floor cutter and installed my floor for under 1800.00 using a quality laminate. Very easy to use and was exactly what I needed to do a quality job for less than half of what I was quoted. Worked out so well with these tools I will tackle the next room.

The handle is so well fused to the head that I suspect it might be made of Vibranium. I can confirm - not a single issue with the head falling off or the handle bending. Say goodbye to "accidental" holes in your walls! Next, we have the "Heavy Pull Bar." Forget the flimsy pull bars of yesteryears, this one's got the quenching treatment! It's made from premium steel that's apparently better than A3 steel. I don't know who A3 is, but he's got nothing on this pull bar! Plus, it's thicker than the average pull bar, and it comes with soft pads. My floor has never felt so loved and scratch-free. Now, let's talk about the "2 in 1 Flooring Spacers." These are like the superheroes of spacers, with two sizes to choose from. And the best part? They don't tip over and get stuck like those flimsy spacers in other kits. These spacers are so stable; you'd think they were auditioning for Cirque du Soleil. The "Solid Tapping Block with Handle" is next on our comedy tour. This was a very effective tool set with spacers. Exactly what was needed and I highly recommend. The spacers are oversize so they don't fold in under the floorboards when pounding. Also, unlike many other kits, this kit included a solid block with a handle and step in the block that allows the block to interface with the top edge of the plank and not mess up the plank locking groves. My only small criticism was that the mallet head unscrewed a couple of times, but I just retightened and resumed work, but very cost effective and the right tools for the job. Just add some Locktight to the mallet head if yours loosens up and go with it.

Haven't used yet, but each piece feels sturdy and well constructed. Time will tell

This kit has everything one needs to lay flooring. The tools are well made and the price is very reasonable. Was able to install 250sqft of flooring with this kit, without issue.

Was as described. Of decent quality and did what was required. I look forward to using it again to install the floor that I first used it to uninstall.

Was working on remodeling a 114sqft room into an office. Tore up carpet to place in wood look vinyl flooring and needed these tools to install the click together flooring. Everything arrived quickly and it all looked good. Got to work right away with the installing. The spacers were great, no issues with the whatsoever. Was able to put them in place, tap flooring into place, then wiggle them out with no issue. The tapping block was good. It lined up nicely, tapped smoothly and the handle didn't loosen or give any issue. The material of the block is semi-soft, as I began to see it chipping and cutting away slightly by the end of my job. Has a nice lip for the widest part of it and a narrow edge, which made it easy to ensure proper tapping all around the flooring. The metal grip bar was perfect. Has pads to not scratch the flooring. Was able to fit in the space around edges, and gripped the flooring without issue to provide a tight seal. Didn't have any issues with it bending or warping throughout the job. The hammer was frustrating! This was my biggest gripe about the set. I was working with these tools fairly gently and not even a quarter of the way into the project, the hammer head popped off... It appears to be glued in rather cheap, so throughout the job, I had to slap the hammer head back into place after every other row of vinyl flooring. Other than the head falling off, the hammer did it's job without damaging anything. Overall, the box set is great for the cost of it. It's inexpensive, quick to arrive, and gets the job done for small tasks. If you're planning to do a larger space or expect to use it for multiple projects, then I would suggest looking for something a bit higher end. If you just need a small project done at minimal cost, then this will get it done.

Tools were very handy in laying thE LVP flooring. Contained all necessary tools.

It's worked OK for the first room of hybrid flooring but I'll upgrade the tapping block before I go further. The spacers are a good design. The hammer is too small and the pull bar is just adequate. I probably wouldn't buy this kit again if I had more than a single room to do. It works, but it isn't great.
