Great little heater easy to set up and use

First of all i want to praise Amazon as when this stopped working they resolved the issue instantly, full refund and different one ordered! This was an easy heater to set up on my narrowboat as had the exhaust fitting already in place from a previous one! After all rigged up and filled with diesel it fired up instantly and pairing with my phone was simple! Just downloaded the app on IOS and it just worked straight away. The app i feel lacks a lot of features you see on other apps of this type. The heater was economical to use, Very! and was extremely reliable! UNTIL It wasn't It just would not light anymore and each time giving me a different error code! So yes it was great for a week and worked really well until it wouldn't start anymore! What a shame!!

Fitted this to the shelf I built under my Bedford Bambi/Nipper. Bought a separate elbow and vent to take pipe directly up through the floor and out the side of a under seat locker. Had it running for hours and it worked perfectly! Only needed the one vent. Gave 18C on lowest level.. Bluetooth and app works fine. Ran the exhaust out under the floor facing backwards. Gave the unit its own 12v car battery. Also runs on 240v with adaptor when Electric Hook up. Going to extend the cable to bring the controller into cab. This Requires a cable to be made with Molex Micro fit 4 way Male & Female sockets (which the controller uses) and I found on ebay. All in all I’m very happy with this heater! Love the voice feedback!

Easy to set up looks good bit noisyI might set it up outside and vent it through the wall. But gives out plenty of heat. Good value for money? We will see in the winter

So my review.... Build quality 8/10 ‐-------- Easy of operation 8.5/10 < Instructions are utterly useless, Took a youtube video to work out the controller. --------- Ease of installation 7/10 < this is easy if you are hands-on, if you're not hands on it could be problematic for you, more secure heat resistant installation lagging..... will be needed too --------- Quality of parts 7/10 < Jubilee clips are complete rubbish, Chinese rubbish. --------- Noise from operation 6/10 < very noisy when operating at three-quarter power to maximum power very quiet we're operating at minimum power to a quarter power. --------- Bluetooth control 7/10 < Works well, However the range it utter rubbish, NOT 10 mtrs --------- Would I purchase this model again YES but definitely install properly with heat prevention..... Lagging.... Over All Score = 7.25%

I was quite impressed with this, the actual unit is quite well made and functional, the only let down was the really cheap and cheerful ancillary stuff, hoses, fittings etc, ditched most of that and bought alternatives. Heats really well and gets the room up to temperature rapidly. As for its longevity and fuel consumption I cant really comment on that as yet.

Fitted today after my other gave up had it 5 years heating my conservatory well smells a bit but it's new heats up good let's see how long this one lasts

I purchased the unit in August 2025 and it worked great at first. Waited for colder times and it just won’t start up no error codes. Also started leaking diesel . Was offered a refund which I didn’t take at the time. Whish I had 😩 I did contact Sunster again and they told me to contact Amazon but still waiting for reply Anyway bought another heater aVOLPAX 8kw and it’s great should have bought this first instead of wasting £114.00
