Can well recommend,bought for an arthritic thumb it is comfortable to wear and gives warmth and good support.Very good service from Provectus Medical,item arrived within two days of ordering.

I wanted to wear the supports for a few days to be able to give a more honest and accurate review. So now I have, and I can truthfully say that they are the best supports I've ever had. I read the reviews and Paul T's excellent tips to make the supports more comfortable were just what was needed. My biggest and most painful problem was my thumb and the muscle going to the wrist. It was excruciating pain all the time but this support is gentle, soft, but firm enough to support without constriction. I too cut the wrist band off as it really wasn't necessary for me, but I have it incase I might need it again. Five stars feels inadequate to award these supports. They are superb, in my view.

I am happy to rate five stars as the support offered is excellent for my wrist tendinitis. However, just a point regarding comfort. The soft tissue between thumb and index finger is prone to rubbing due to the construction of this support. An easy solution is to first apply a short bandage with wadding to this delicate part of hand and I then am able to wear support all day with comfort. Certainly better than the neoprene ones available as this does not make hands sweat.

Great size and shape, lightweight plenty Velcro to allow adjustments.i would have given it 5***** only for the Velcro on thimb support cuts into your hand, surely this can be sorted by extending fabric of support under thumb.

I really like how supportive this brace is, and it covers much more of the palm than the one it's replacing!It's comfortable to wear and easy to put on yourself.Two of the straps were a little long for me but were easy to trim neatly!(in the photos I'm wearing it over a compression glove)

Extremely dissapointed with these splints. There are far to many fastenings to manage. The velcro is far to difficult to use and is unecessarily long. The actual splint is far too bulky and the thumb support does not cover the thumb correctly. The metal splint that should support the thumb sticks out of the bottom of the outter covering. Actually I am very supprised that this was made by a medical company!!

Thought this was the perfect solution to the tight non breathable supports I have had to use but unfortunately this one is very stiff and unusable as causes too much pain.

I suffer from osteoarthritis in my thumbs as well as tendon problems including trigger thumb. Having already purchased support for right hand and being extremely satisfied with it I went on to purchase one for my left hand.
