I've been frustrated with the plastic-handled silverware that my roommate and I have had in our apartment for years, so I came to Amazon to upgrade them. I'm really really please with my new set of flatware from Dokaworld. They look shiny and high quality, and are much more comfortable than the plastic-handled set I had before. My roommate and I are not gentle on our possessions but these STILL look as good as new after washing them a few times in the dishwasher and in the sink.You can tell the design from the photos on the listing which are accurate... I like the design because I wanted something that didn't stick out too much but felt simple and high-quality. My one comment on the design is that the sizes of the spoons and forks is perfect for everyday use.The listing mentions you could use the box for storage... I would definitely not do this. The box is not that nice and it's better to keep silverware in a drawer anyway. I just immediately threw out the box.In summary, this set is awesome quality, particularly for the price. If you're looking for a standard set of flatware that feels good, works well, and will last forever, check these out!

Some of the pieces had light scratches on them; none very bad, but still, one expects no scratches on something brand new. One of the larger spoons was slightly misshapen, I was able to correct that.After reading on various websites about 18/10 quality flatware, especially information concerning the differing composition for the knives which can result in rusting problems in a dishwasher, I've decided I wasn't taking any chances and I hand wash all of these in the sink, using a soft sponge and a microfiber towel to dry them. There are only two of us and it only takes a few minutes. I enjoy the lustrous finish and smooth edges and I want to preserve the finish. I have a slightly fancier set I use only for company; they are going on 10 years old and have only been hand washed and they still look great.This flatware has a nice weight to it, good balance and their size and elegance is just right for what we want.

I like these flatware silverware set. I purchased these because they’re 8/10 stainless steel, which means they won’t turn black and they’re the best quality, and it gives a shiny luster that makes the set real pretty and elegantI bought them to replace my old set that I was given as a gift for my wedding 36 years ago. They kept disappearing and the few I have left have turned dark because of the dishwasher hot setting I use. I like the luster and the design of this set. I highly recommend.

Beautiful, high quality dinnerware for a very reasonable price. No burrs or scratches on any of the pieces that I received. Also, the individual pieces have a nice weight, but not too heavy or thick. My wife disliked our previous dinnerware because the pieces were overly heavy and overly thick. They were OK for a man's hands, however. I selected this dinnerware due to its beautiful appearance (nice design and high shine or lustre). I also selected it because it is 18/10 stainless. Ordinary stainless will stain from certain acids (tomato and citrus, for example). Also 18/10 stainless does not rust. It is 305 stainless with 10% chrome for added rust resistance plus the added shine or lustre. The stainless that stains, rusts and loses its shine (lustre) is 304 stainless, and it lacks chrome plating.

Feels cheap to me…. But my wife loves them! One Star from me… Five stars from my wife.

I was tired of our old flatware. It also faded shortly after I started using it.I wanted something contemporary, stylish, and, of course, high quality.I ran into DOKAWORLD and I liked the way it looked.My husband is a metallurgical engineer. He kept saying I won’t get a quality thing at this low price.He performed a Quantitative Chemical Analysis (Alloy Composition Analysis).He found out it was, as advertised, high quality stainless steel, similar to which is used for medical equipment. I ordered two of these sets of silverware after returning to my SC home from OH and discovering that all but 4 of our 12 salad forks had walked off to places unknown. I thought that these were similar to our every day flatware and would blend in just fine. Was I surprised by the difference between these and our old silverware that I had purchased at Walmart several years ago. These are much nicer feeling in the hand. They are thicker; heavier, without being too heavy; smooth feeling; and have no sharp edges. They feel like a good quality every day set of flatware that can even be used for more formal dining when one doesn't want to haul out the good silver and have to polish it before use. They have remained shiny, even after running them through the dishwasher several times. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This set of flatware is really good for the price. For people saying they are thin or cheap, what are they expecting? A samurai sword thickness? lol. These are very sturdy and the weight is good. I did have a minor issue with a couple scratches on a few spoons as was mentioned before in a different comment, but the seller shipped me a new set after sending pictures. You can not go wrong for the price and I would definitely buy again even for slightly more. Comparable big box stores sell lesser quality for much more.
