Great product! However..
The media could not be loaded. Lets start by this, I've been needing to replace my weather stripping for a while. Frankly, I need to replace the trim around all my doors. I’m a single mom of two non-helpful teenage boys and 2 dogs. All Constantly running in and out. I say all that to say, I don’t know what the heck I’m doing.I do know my electric bill is high and I see bugs slipping through the gaps. I also have my AC thermostat close to the front door and it’s always 2 degrees higher there than in the Rest of the house.I bought this weather stripping because of these reasons. I didn’t know what size to buy. I was thinking the thicker the better right? Wrong.First, the adhesive is legit. Very sticky and forgiving. I had to adjust many times. Also completely removed and then replaced it on a different door.I bought 1/2in. In thickness, the quality itself is great! Easy Extremely easy to Install (Several times) in my case. Seals that gap like a charm. But it is too thick for my front door. As seen in video, it won’t stay shut, I can’t even lock it by hand. They said it should settle in a week or so but I can’t leave my door unlocked. Sho I’ll be ordering a smaller size for the front. And now because I can install weather stripping like a pro.I simply removed it and replaced my back door stripping. The gap is bigger at the back door because my dogs scratch when they are ready to come in. I noticed some of it was completely scratched off. In pictures I show it on the back door next to the existing strip. And a picture of the old scratch strip.I did the light test and no light comes through like before. So bottom line. Great product, very durable and adhesive is not going to move or tear up. I even tried to cut it with a box cutter to make it less thick so the door would shut but that doesn’t work.I will be buying more for other doors and windows.I learned to measure your gap by coins. 1/4 is 3 coins.Insulation is a must in Texas and probably anywhere else with extreme temperatures. Good luck on your thickness!

Great stickiness and durability
This was a great product. Durable. Super sticky. Filled the gaps perfectly. Can stack the layers if needed. Make sure you get the right thickness for your needs though. It's better to go thinner and stack the layer vs going to thick.

Works well
I use these for my windows and door. Works well, hasn’t peeled off and seems to be keeping the cold air out. Easy to install and no issues cutting it.

Strong adhesive and durable material.
This weather stripping worked perfectly! The adhesive is very strong and worked well against my door frame (latex paint). The 1/2" x 1/4" stripping was just the right amount of material to plug the gap in my door frame and provide a snug fit when the door closes. No more draft! 🙂

Great product!
Fantastic! The weather stripping on my patio door was falling apart, and I decided it was time to replace it. Definitely double check the size before you buy, I had to return a different size from the same seller and rebuy in the correct size. Easy to apply, and the adhesive is very strong. I’d definitely recommend!

Mostly good
Good adhesive and material. Would have given 5 stars but it's such a dense strip / no squish, that I couldn't install it everywhere I needed to bc it was too thick / wouldn't flex so the door wouldn't fully close. Had to uninstall all of it except for the outside vertical edge. So I still have a gap top and bottom regrettably. If you have a large gap all around the door this is for you. If you have a smaller gap or the gap size changes, try a different product with more flex so your door shuts :/

good product
easy to apply, seems to stick well. As for longevity ...... looks like will be good, but time will tell.

1/8" thick x 1/2" wide for apartment door
1/8" thick x 1/2" wide was the perfect size for an apartment door with existing thin fabric lip "insulation," and uneven gaps around the entire door. I slipped the edge of the tape just under the lip of the existing insulation, positioned a long length, then pulled the tape off and pressed. This width just reaches the deadbolt plate. It's staying on firm on all four sides of the door frame in weather from 60 to 95 degrees. I've used a lot of this type of tape and I'm impressed by the quality and adhesive power.
