May catch on fire and burn your house down
The media could not be loaded. Caught on fire in my sauna, had to put it out with a fire extinguisher. I don’t know if it’s the heaters fault or if I used the wrong kind of rocks? I bought granite chunks. I’ve worked in commercial construction for 9 years and have quite a bit of experience in electrical work, I’m very confident it was wired right.

Not bad for being the only real option out there
Build quality is sufficient considering the price, and this was the only 110/120v heater I could find. I put it in a very small DIY sauna and it more that does the job. How well it will work for larger saunas I couldn’t tell you, but for my tiny 50sq ft one it can get hotter than we need. I know some people say they didn’t get instructions but mine showed the wiring connections. I got a higher amp cord and a higher amp outdoor kill switch for added safety. Also put an electrical fire extinguisher in the sauna just because I only ever trust my DIY skills so much.Make sure you do a couple of well ventilated burn off sessions before actually taking a sauna session to avoid chemical smells.Update 4/16/25: heater still works great, but I learned that their wire gauge recommendation was too small for the 23 amps this pulls, and the circuit would clip sometimes. I upgraded the gauge and added bypassed the outlet (hardwire) and now I have no issues. Also, don’t try and cheap out on sauna rocks. The Internet told me that I could use the black Mexican beach pebbles from Home Depot, but I’d say about 20% of them split inside the heater. Now that I have my wiring in my rock sorted out the right way, this thing works fantastic.

Solid Heat with a Warm Touch – Literally and Aesthetically
I picked up this 3KW sauna heater for a personal sauna build in a small home spa setup, and it’s been an absolute win. First thing to note: this thing heats up fast. I’ve got a 4-person cedar sauna, and within about 20–30 minutes it’s already pushing high heat—plenty to get that full sauna experience without waiting around forever. What really stood out for me was the wooden design on the outside. It’s a simple touch, but it actually makes a big difference in how the space feels—warm, inviting, not as sterile or industrial as some of the metal-only units I considered.Install was straightforward, but heads-up: it doesn’t come with a power cord, so be ready to wire it up yourself. I used a 16 AWG cable and a 40-amp breaker as suggested, and it’s been rock solid. Also, follow their note about not using regular rocks—it does make a difference. I bought proper sauna stones and haven’t had any issues. It mounts cleanly on the wall, sits at just the right height to keep heat circulating, and I’ve had zero problems with safety or overheating. The built-in thermostat works well, and once it hits your desired temp, it holds pretty steady. All in all, this thing delivers reliable performance, looks good, and feels like it was built with attention to both form and function. For the price, it’s been a really solid addition to my little wellness corner.

Be aware!
Crashproof packing box ABSOLUTELY NOT... this packaging was far from it... I have a damaged shell heater now mounted to my wall.. it looks ugly, but at least the element seems okay..... for now... it works for my two-person (now 1-1/2) sauna I have in the basement.Just be aware that you may get a damaged product when you order this. besides that, it does the job.... for now.

Works well in our homebuilt sauna
My wife decided that she needed a steam sauna, and me being the engineer I am, went to work designing and building it. Since it really is only a two-person sauna (3 if you really all like each other), I didn't need a huge heater for it. Outside of some professional ones, this is really the only one available for smaller saunas and the home DIYer.The sauna comes without rocks, so some simple wiring and $70 of sauna stones later, it was up and running. I overengineered the construction and exceeded the wire gauge needed for the amperage since heating elements tend to draw a lot of current. Made sense since the sauna is really a big pile of wood with a heater in it. I hung it on the wall and it provides copious amounts of steam for the size of the sauna - more than I really think we need, but my wife loves it, so it is a win.Overall, it is a simple sauna heater and works really well for us. So far, we have had zero issues and it has had pretty steady use since the newness of the sauna hasn't worn off yet. Once summer comes, I'm sure it will be used less, but for right now, this is a good, economical solution for our comfort (or discomfort depending on your liking/disliking of saunas).
