Damaged goods

Does the job fine
This was bought as a direct replacement for the identical make/model fitted to our alarm system - some clown had blathered it in emulsion paint which I was unable to clean off sufficiently for the thing to look halfway smart.It's just a plastic housing containing a small but hefty loudspeaker with plastic cone, (no electronics), so the sound it makes depends on what the alarm system feeds it. It is certainly very loud in our case, so much so that I've fitted a series resistor to quieten it down to a sensible level.It's simple and well made, easy to attach to the wall, and quite smart. Above all, it does the job fine.
