Great product
Love this small tank. Easy to put together. Very cute in a small corner patio. Lovely noise from waterfall.

The quality and sturdiness of the pond.
The media could not be loaded. The Blagdon Affinity Grand Octagon at first seems quite daunting to put together when you open the large box it comes in and look at the instruction's. My advice would be don’t try to follow them but go to YouTube and follow the video tutorial step by step, which of course makes it look easier to put together than it is. And it was quite easy, except you always get that one screw that won’t go in, which are plastic and require a Philips screwdriver and force to get in. I found my biggest problem was hooking the pond liner onto the frame, but I got there in the end. You will also require two 3pin plugs for the supplied filter pump and transformer, which again is easy to set up by following video tutorials.I’m really impressed with the pond, which is sturdy and looks really good, it also comes with two large planting pouches, and I bought another two, to plant up the four sides without portholes and now can’t wait to plant them up.

Good, but...
I bought this pond just over 2 years ago so thought I'd offer my considered opinion on it. Firstly, it looks really nice. It's very relaxing sitting in the garden on a summer evening, listening to the waterfall and watching the fish swimming past the windows. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.That isn't an unreserved recommendation though - it needs a LOT of work to keep it looking nice and the pump working properly. The in pond filter unit takes up approx 50% of the area of the base of the pond which means that a large portion of fish poo and general muck either lands on or gets drawn into the filter. This seems to overwhelm it and, during the summer in particular, the pump pretty much much grinds to a halt every 1 - 2 weeks. This means the filter needs taking out, cleaning and the pump unit flushing through with a hose. Then it's great again, but it's a time consuming, dirty and unpleasant job. A friend bought the larger size version of this pond (which is what prompted me to get mine) and he doesn't seem to have the problem to the same extent so I think it's largely a result of how much of the base of the pond the filter takes up - in a larger area more muck would settle around it than in it!The water also evaporates at an alarming rate in the summer too and it needs topping up every week (not a problem Blagdon can do anything about of course, but worth bearing in mind in terms of maintenance levels). Lastly, the porthole windows go green with algae very quickly when the sun is on them, and again scrubbing them clean is a weekly task. I've only ever cleaned them with the official cleaning cloths Blagdon produce and they were fine for 18 months, but in the last 6 months they have started to scuff slightly, leaving them looking a little cloudy even when clean, which is a bit annoying as it's lovely to see the bright colours of the fish when the windows are properly clear. In summary, these ponds are a nice addition to your garden but if I were to buy one again I'd go for the larger size, otherwise be prepared to spend a lot of time maintaining it!

Extremely happy
The media could not be loaded. 330 litres oneVery good quality pond and very easy to build. I read few reviews and people were saying it kind difficult to build and the manual wasn’t easy to understand and some people said the watch videos on youtube. But I think it wasvery easy to build. Took me 30 minutes to build the frameWhat took more was the put the cables all together, once we all know that we can’t messy up it electricity!! But was very easy and simple.Very happy with everything and fish seems be very happy and healthy! The only “issue “ my opinion is the light on the filter as you going to have a look at the fish during the night and the light is right in your eyes but overall great quality!!Can’t wait to get the bigger one !!

Easy to build
Bought the Blagdon Affinity Corner Grand Pond to replace my existing smaller Blagdon one which I've had quite a while now. Although it appears to have a slight leak now, it was time for a change in any case as the fish have got a lot bigger so need more space. Really pleased with it, easy to build but suggest to just to take your time and follow the instructions stage by stage. I also purchased a replacement waterfall and overall looks great. I would definitely recommend Blagdon products.

Great new hobby
Pond is easy to clean, lots of space we have a few different fish. Pump and light are great features for the patio. Very easy to put together. Great size that fits in the corner of our patio. Not the cheapest but the best value and quality

Easy, looks good, sturdy
The media could not be loaded. Really loving this pond. I wanted to get it set up and give it a few weeks to settle before introducing the fish.. and even though they're not in it yet, I love the gentle trickle and just being able to see the plants through the windows, especially when the sun shines down and makes them dance with the rays from the ripples! It wasn't the easiest to put together on my own, but got it done in a couple of hours (with waiting for the panels to warm in the sunshine).. but DO put the fleece down first.. you assemble it upside-down!The liner doesn't sit straight down the walls, so I can't put the plants that sit on the bottom into the corner and have had to put in a couple of bricks just to keep them in place and stop them sliding further into the middle. I've used S-hooks to hold the marginals pots, hooked into the pre-drilled holes, rather than buying extra clip-in blagdon holders. It's taken a couple of weeks for the water to become properly sparkling clear, without addition of anything. My water came from water butts, and was pretty murky to start. Can't wait to get the fish in and see them swimming about.

Hi I am going to raise the pond up by 200mm but going on your sizes you have put so I can build a small wall the sizes don’t work out when you draw them out on the floor
