Overall this product does what it is designed to do, i.e. allow one to have storage hanging off the roof. With that said, the product is being rated as "It's Okay!" vs. something higher for the following reasons:Initially the product arrived missing one of the five cross bars. I contacted the seller and they were awesome at shipping me the missing piece the same day, got it the next day. This would give the "seller service to an issue" a 5 star rating. But based on the review, I wasn't the only person that received their package with one missing cross bar. Looks like there needs to be improved quality in the shipping department of the company.After hanging the product, it became obvious that the product is not manufactured to high standards. Each of the hanging angle iron structures are the same dimensions, there is not an upper and lower angle iron. As such, when the pieces are connected, one piece will have sharp edges exposed and creates a safety hazard for potentially significant cuts to arms and hands when reaching up to store or retrieve materials off the shelves. See pictures I provided. For this reason, this product is being rated OK.One last thing, read the product specs carefully. I didn't realize that I had to buy my own shelving to go on the rack supports. The product specifications do share this information - but when I get in a hurry i don't always read every piece of information as carefully as I should. I kinda cheated a bit. I used one kit to make two 4x8 storage shelves. See pictures. I used wood against two walls and the framing to complete. Turned out great and strong! I can hang from it and I'm 300#!

I used this to clear floor space of boxes and hins in my garage. Directions are very vague, but still easy to figure out. Was missing the 2 side pieces for the main frame in the 1st kit but didn't realize it until I assembled the second kit last night. Pay attention to main frame pieces if you swap them around the holes line up well. Directions for re extremely vague but unless you're mechanically handicapped it's still pretty easy. Will order 1 one more. They are pretty sturdy and well worth it for a fraction of the cost of the others. 3 stars for missing pieces.

Not 48" wide, see picture. Seem durable. You will not be able to install this in the corner of your garage unless your framing just happens to fall in the right place and is ran in the correct direction, you have access above your garage to frame in blocks in the necessary location or you make brackets spanning multiple trusses on the inside of your garage. I do not plan on hanging a lot of weight from this so I used 3/4" plywood to get me the few extra inches I needed and didnt place one upright in the corner of the shelf. Sharp corners and bolt holes dont allow for bolts to go through in some holes once these metal pieces are overlapped. Had 40 leftover bolts and nuts bc there's just nowhere to put them that will fit.

First of all, instructions are extremely bad with missing steps. The design doesn’t allow install against corner. You’ll waste time trying to figure out. Best to pay a bit more for recognized company to save on learning how to install. Not 48” wide, it’s 47”. Material may be sharp to the touch.

Installed this in my garage that has exposed beams. So while I did not install this "as instructed" I was able to use the parts provided to get a decent install. It came with 12 large lag screws for connecting to your ceiling along with 80 nuts & 80 bolts for connecting the metal parts together. I'm still not really sure why there were so many nuts & bolts but I don't think anyone would run out regardless of how you put this together. I added photos for the hardware included and the metal pieces included.

A fantastic rack kit! The instructions were pretty easy to follow and took me about an hour to install. I was looking at different overhead units and saw that this doesn’t have the mesh platform, but for my purposes of storing large boxes it really doesn’t matter (and for a fraction of the price!) I really appreciate the 6 legs as well, which make it incredibly sturdy. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs more space in their garage with an inexpensive but high-quality storage solution.

I got it in packed tight and compact. Little heavy but to be expected. Instructions are vague but it's pretty straight forward install. Adjustable in height and length. Which was great on my part being I only used 1 bar vs 2 for the legs to fit above my door. It still fit 22 gal tote and my Christmas tree box in the gap. I wasn't able to use the middle supports due to my rafters in my garage having metal plate and me not wanting to drill them. Not needed for the light items up there. I won't buy another from them due to price. Knowing what's included I can go to lowes and get the stuff for 1/4 of the cost.
